What are we doing? We do an intro, we just kicking off into some music.
SPEAKER_04See, that's why I never tell you when I'm recording, bro. I'm recording now though. I had to do it to you, man.
SPEAKER_06Well, we back.
SPEAKER_04That's exactly why. How you feeling? I I'm chilling, bro.
SPEAKER_07I see. Got your little merch shirt on too, don't we?
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh, stop. Wait a minute. You see that?
SPEAKER_26You wanted to go see her?
SPEAKER_04I did.
SPEAKER_26Okay.
SPEAKER_04I did. I did.
SPEAKER_26How was it?
SPEAKER_04It was. It was a lot more white people than I thought, I will say. Oh yeah, we're starting. We're starting early.
SPEAKER_27Okay. I mean, I would expect all of them to be there.
SPEAKER_04I don't know why I didn't expect it, I'm gonna be honest with you. But that's what happened.
SPEAKER_07Hey, now hold on now. You said the gays showed out too, though.
SPEAKER_04I see, I wasn't trying to do that, bro.
SPEAKER_05Every gay friend that I have was there. Yeah. That's how I saw the show. Yes, I saw her through the stories, right? Do the stories on Instagram. Specifically the gays.
SPEAKER_04Honestly, I loved it though. She she's a great performer.
SPEAKER_27Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And plus, I never thought I would see her, like ever in my life.
SPEAKER_27So she has a strong voice, I'll give her that.
SPEAKER_04So Barry, you was able to hear that shit. Like the mic was definitely on.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, she's always been a good singer.
SPEAKER_07She's like our version of Mariah Carey. Like a long stretch. But I don't know anyone else. It's not really a long stretch.
SPEAKER_05Without the attitude. It might be there though.
SPEAKER_04I don't know. She she got a little too. Just a little bit, yeah.
SPEAKER_26Like she talks like this.
SPEAKER_04She talks very whimsical, but like you could tell that in an argument, she's not losing.
SPEAKER_27She did date Mac Miller, so and Pete Davidson.
SPEAKER_04And Ricky Alvarez.
SPEAKER_27There's more names. You wanna keep going?
SPEAKER_04There's just several names, bro. Big Sean.
SPEAKER_27Big Sean.
SPEAKER_04That was a PR play for real. I ain't gonna lie to you. It worked.
SPEAKER_27I like them together. Janae.
SPEAKER_07They had a good ass song together.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, Janaya Iiko. I didn't say that.
SPEAKER_04Janae Aiko. I'm scared of her. She is borderline scary, I will say.
SPEAKER_27She'll cut you. And then hit her soundbow. Ding!
SPEAKER_07And now you're just in that get out fucking traps.
SPEAKER_04Yo, imagine like going ahead to stab somebody up but then meditate after.
SPEAKER_26I'd do that. I didn't want to say it. I think I would, yeah. I feel like you gotta bring yourself back.
unknownYou gotta bring yourself back.
SPEAKER_26I did a lie. Hold on. I did a lie here.
SPEAKER_10You're not getting it. It's not clocking to you. Hey, yo.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I'm ready for it today. Why are you staring?
SPEAKER_07Because, bro, we finally got central here. I already could tell. You look so nervous. Both of y'all gonna be on some bullshit. I don't know what the fucking expect. I'm looking at topics, that's the only thing I can expect.
SPEAKER_04Yo, you look like so nervous. Why do I sound like there's an echo on me? Is that me? Borderline? I don't know.
SPEAKER_07If you turn your level down, maybe it might be fine.
SPEAKER_27I'm a little tone deaf, so.
SPEAKER_04I'm yeah, this sounds like I'm like in a giant room. Well, like, well, you know what I mean.
SPEAKER_27It's pretty big in this new apartment.
SPEAKER_06Like new apartment, huh?
SPEAKER_26I just got a new park.
SPEAKER_06You do have root on the city. Yeah, we should have played that.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, you should have started off with that. That's why you need to tell motherfuckers when we're starting.
SPEAKER_04See, I never want to do that. I'm never it's never happening now.
SPEAKER_27I was quiet about it because I was nervous. Now I'm on a row.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna be honest with you.
SPEAKER_07You're gonna catch me liking one day with that shit.
SPEAKER_04I'm about to say y'all do be walling sometimes. Yeah, that's sound low-key crazy, bro.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I don't know why.
SPEAKER_04I don't know why either. Is that is it right here? Is it right there? Yeah.
SPEAKER_07One, two, one, two.
SPEAKER_04Am I in there now? Okay, cool. Wait, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_26A little bit now.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_07A little.
SPEAKER_26Just a little bit.
SPEAKER_04Y'all can I'll be right there.
SPEAKER_07So we have Sentra with us today.
SPEAKER_27Hey y'all.
SPEAKER_07You wanna give us an intro?
SPEAKER_27Alright. Um hey guys, it's your girl Sentra. Jersey City native. You might know me through the art session or just simply because I know everybody. Um, yeah. Um, I dibble and dabble in a little bit of everything of arts creatives, um, when it comes to like music management down to just event coordination. Um, me and Rich have been friends for years now, so I've seen him grow up from being just a little boy into this grown man who's now engaged. Just crazy. Super happy for that.
SPEAKER_26Oh, Pookie. Oh, Pookie.
SPEAKER_07Nah, don't let him gas you.
SPEAKER_26He did though.
SPEAKER_07So just a little boy.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, you were a little boy. Like Mickey doesn't even know the half, but um, I'm just happy to be here, you know, happy to share some thoughts on what's going down lately, talk my shrew, and um hopefully make some jokes along the way.
SPEAKER_07Hopefully.
SPEAKER_04I'm about to say that's what we do is make jokes around here.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I'm trying to make y'all laugh.
SPEAKER_05That shit worked.
SPEAKER_06That's crazy. All right, all right, bro.
SPEAKER_05Easy over here.
SPEAKER_06She hikey got you, bro.
SPEAKER_04Men are easy. Hold on.
SPEAKER_05That's not fair. Men are easy. You laugh the hardest. Got him.
SPEAKER_04Wait, me? That nigga. I do laugh mighty hard, I will say. Pause.
SPEAKER_27Oh boy.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_27I'm in the pause community. Of course. I'm like Maino when it comes to this shit. They're gonna pause me all night.
SPEAKER_07I wanna say all night. I won't say pause, though. I ain't gonna lie to you. Just that. I was like, pause.
SPEAKER_04Yo, you look so terrified. You you good, bro?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, bro. Yeah, bro. I'm trying to figure out what we're doing. Oh my god. Yo, because I've been trying to figure out what topics to go to first, and it's kind of like it's not a clusterfuck.
SPEAKER_04Don't worry about it, I got you.
SPEAKER_07That shit can go anywhere. Culture drop podcast, you're this at least a remix. No, yeah, you never knew it was a remix with two chains, huh? Nigga, are you dead ass? Yeah, I'm deadass. This one shit, dude. You can let it rock.
SPEAKER_18Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_04You're not gonna disrespect me, bro. You think I don't know there's a remix with two chains? With titty boy? A lot of people don't. Nick, I'm black! I mean, yeah. Sorry.
SPEAKER_27I'm black. Unapologetically.
SPEAKER_04I'm like, what was that? Anyways, continue.
SPEAKER_18Through some badge that I should be a savage. Bather be tied up with girls and the strings. By my own checks, I got my mother sing. Stop watching. My neck is fussy, make big subjects. My gloves is puppet.
SPEAKER_25You like it.
SPEAKER_18I want it.
unknownI got it. Yeah, I want it. I got it.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, there we go. That's what I was waiting for.
SPEAKER_27Damn, I forgot how good this song is.
SPEAKER_23I'm so reckless when our Gunchy dress. I'm so possessed if so I reckon.
SPEAKER_06I never hated background vocals.
SPEAKER_27You mix that middle with the biggest. Fun fact, I have hot sauce in my bag because of this.
SPEAKER_04I got it.
SPEAKER_27First of all, ladies and JC um New York.
SPEAKER_07You saw it.
SPEAKER_27Did I look like I had the money to afford it?
SPEAKER_07I meant like to avoid it.
SPEAKER_27Hell yeah, I feel like everybody and their mother gave up their rent money and I lost it to them. But yeah, she did amazing. Blue did amazing. A family of like talented artists is crazy. What do you better let one spin over twice?
SPEAKER_04My baby's halfway in the tone. Why y'all stare at me?
SPEAKER_07Like the Cause the transition was just C Yo. I'd be wanted DJ something. You can take it, bro. If I DJ, I'm just playing the new songs because like eight fucking albums came out.
SPEAKER_27Literally, I'm overwhelmed. Yeah. I'm very overwhelmed.
SPEAKER_04There was like ten albums that came out. I just latched to the Rick Ross one. I only heard like three of them. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_26Wait, Rick Ross drops that one.
SPEAKER_20Yeah. Like this. Flood your contour, make you blush like this.
SPEAKER_04This is one of Kendrick, like one of my favorite Kendrick versus like. It's just stupid.
SPEAKER_20On the couch with my favorite sand up. I love the visual to this. What this?
SPEAKER_07No, the song, the visual that he did. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That shoe is fire.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I think visuals are like really important when it comes to music.
SPEAKER_07When it comes to good music.
SPEAKER_27Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it could be a bad song, but a great visual, too, though. You know who's really good at visuals? The baby. Yeah, like if he's behind any type of production, I'm like, yeah, this shit's about to slap.
SPEAKER_07Deadass. I feel like he's like our ludicrous.
SPEAKER_27Oh, okay. That's a good one.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because I never thought about that.
SPEAKER_27Me either.
SPEAKER_07They go crazy. They they do like the wacky videos.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, he definitely has like a lot of like Missy Elliott vibes to it too when it comes to like the bobblehead looking things, things like that. He got me. I'll be tuned in. It's like a little movie, a little three-minute movie.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, some random shit.
SPEAKER_27I know, like the video sometimes has nothing to do with the lyrics, where I'm just like, fuck yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04About to say it does most times now. I feel like a lot of artists do that now though. Where like their video has nothing to do with their lyrics.
SPEAKER_27I rather that though, because then everyone else does the same thing where they just ask for a whole bunch of extras in the background. It's a bodega, or it's a house party, or it's a car, or you know, like I want it to be random.
SPEAKER_04I will say going to Ariana Grande, real quick. I didn't realize how much this is gonna sound like an asshole thing to say, but how much she took. Like, there's a lot of things in her songs that it's kind of like some areas of how she performs. You could tell there's some inspiration from Kanye. It does.
SPEAKER_27I'm like, who's not inspired by Kanye?
SPEAKER_04Well, yeah, of course.
SPEAKER_27I wake up in the morning and I like talk shit in the mirror because of Kanye.
SPEAKER_12Yeezy talking.
SPEAKER_27Like, I love him. Ooh, I'm gonna get so canceled by a lot of people. Nah, cause I love Kanye.
SPEAKER_04I mean, let's be real though, you can't cancel himself. I'm about to say, you can't really get to cancel with Kanye because like he's a fucking genius. Like, he's been making legendary shit since 2004.
SPEAKER_07I think if the music's strong enough, you can't get canceled.
SPEAKER_27I want old Kanye though. I know, and I miss those albums. What's your cutoff? My cutoff with him, honestly. I can't say have a cutoff because I love all his music, even the new shit that sucks. Like, I like it just because of Kanye.
SPEAKER_04See, my cutoff is Donda. Donda's like the last project I could listen to.
SPEAKER_27Really?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And even then it gets hard sometimes.
SPEAKER_27I think you have to be in the right setting for the new music that he drops. Yeah. Like you have to be in it, you can't just be in your car or home anymore in the shower. Oh no. Like his first few albums. Those days are gone. Yeah, his first few albums, like you could do be anywhere and it's still gonna slap. You could be in a club and they drop an old Kanye album, and you're just like, fuck it, everybody's rapping together. Yeah. These new songs, like, you definitely have to like be on something, like a shroom.
SPEAKER_04Either that or really love Jesus.
SPEAKER_27Or be half naked.
SPEAKER_04Loving Jesus.
SPEAKER_15I like these settings. I mean, wait, you like being half naked loving Jesus? I mean, yeah, love Jesus always.
SPEAKER_06Be naked loving Jesus.
SPEAKER_07God. I told you what I thought I was. God. Nah, that shit. He was on his shit back then. Yeah. When that uses error came.
SPEAKER_04Yo, that ice cream truck. I low key wanted Mr. Softy, but like, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_27It's a vibe. I love the ice cream truck jingles. Like, that shit is hard. If you don't bop your head to an ice cream truck jingle, what are you doing?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, but they jack Mr. Softy, so all of them are like bringing in alternate um alternate jingles, I guess. I don't know.
SPEAKER_27As long as they're a dollar cheaper, they got me.
SPEAKER_04That jingle does not sound different. I'm still waiting for it to slow down and then be like, hello. I'm still waiting for that shit.
SPEAKER_27I need like the rap version.
SPEAKER_04That should be haul.
SPEAKER_27Get some lyrics on that shit. Yeah, I'm coming outside.
SPEAKER_07Ice cream man rapping this motherfucker. Like, what? And they need like a trap beat too, like something.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_27Oh, wait, you know that commercial is like 877.
SPEAKER_04393444A. Yeah, you should have never put me with her, bro. So they switched.
SPEAKER_07I'm like, how do you click on that fast? I knew the song, but I didn't know the numbers like that.
SPEAKER_27I'm like, oh they just made like a new remix to it. It's very AI with dogs playing like instruments and they have headphones on like us.
SPEAKER_04You're so lying.
SPEAKER_27But now instead of saying it the way they say it, they say, how does it go? I don't know. It's catchy too, but it's nothing like the first thing.
SPEAKER_07They don't got no sores. That's what it sounds like.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, it is it's AI all the way.
SPEAKER_04Nah, I'm not gonna lie. I don't know her name, so I'm not gonna call her Flo because that's progressive, but whatever, whoever that lady was for community college? Yeah, she was just trying to get you to go to school, bro. Yeah, she was that's it.
SPEAKER_27That shit got me.
SPEAKER_04Maybe you had to learn a jingle.
SPEAKER_27That shit got me. I ain't gonna lie. I didn't want to be a bum no more.
SPEAKER_04Oh god.
SPEAKER_27I was like six years old. Like, I can't do that. I can't do that. I need to go to college.
SPEAKER_04Community?
SPEAKER_27It's like what? Get me my backpack now. Yo, shit's still going.
SPEAKER_04Are you worried about Mr. Softy? I'm still waiting for the hello.
SPEAKER_27That means they have customers. That means they're feeding for customers.
SPEAKER_07Is jingle still going? Hey man.
SPEAKER_27They don't wait long enough for me.
SPEAKER_04It's summertime, bro.
SPEAKER_27I walk slow. I walk like my dad. See, that's the crazy part.
SPEAKER_04Because I thought they were gonna be gone by now because they do be out like that.
SPEAKER_27Yeah. Yeah, they definitely don't wait for something. I'd be like, damn.
SPEAKER_07Pack the shit up.
SPEAKER_27Shit. Start chasing one after down the street. You ever chased one? I chased one.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, definitely.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, it got that real.
SPEAKER_07And it's like, bro, you don't want money? I'm right here.
SPEAKER_04Bro, you know, bro's probably like 80 years old. Really not trying to do this job.
SPEAKER_27No, I feel like those are the ones who want to do it the most. The older you are, the more you just love making people smile. No, I lied. You either love making people smile or you just want to curse them out on you.
SPEAKER_06You just want to curse them the fuck out.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, like what kind of old man do you think you're gonna be?
SPEAKER_07Yo.
SPEAKER_27Are you gonna curse people out or you wanna see people smile?
SPEAKER_07I think it'll depend on the day. It depends on it depends on how much money I got. I'm gonna be honest with you, yo. Like that's always the deciding factor, honestly. Yeah, like if I'm broke, I'm like, yo, get the fuck out my face. Like, might be happy. I don't know.
SPEAKER_27I don't know. You might need to humble yourself so that you can like get a meal.
SPEAKER_07Oh, if it comes down to it, if it comes down to it, what you gonna see the jolliest old man you ever seen in your life?
SPEAKER_27It's like, hey, how you doing?
SPEAKER_07I might become somebody's grandfather just off the meal. Yo, I don't know.
SPEAKER_27I might beat an old man's ass if he curses at me. Why? They can't beat up an old man. Why not? I don't discriminate on age. I'm just to be so honest.
SPEAKER_04Yo, bro, you can't you can't say fuck them kids and then like not be ready to fight an old nigga.
SPEAKER_27Like, it's just niggas throwing newborns in the air, but you're not gonna hit an old man. Woo!
SPEAKER_04Like, not at all.
SPEAKER_27But we're drawing the line at the old man. He's almost out of it. Baby didn't have a life. Y'all throwing newborns in the air.
SPEAKER_07That's the motto.
SPEAKER_04On top of that, I'm not gonna hold you. I'm tired of being around old people because literally all they do is complain.
SPEAKER_07I think the Me too. I feel like once the the this wave of old people are out of here, like the new wave of old people will probably be way more friendly.
SPEAKER_04No, nigga, because that's us.
SPEAKER_27I have tooth gems. I think I'm gonna be the coolest old lady ever.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, nah, like we're gonna kill the old. And I'm gonna play uh cheetah print.
SPEAKER_27Nah, once y'all start wearing matching sets, I'm concerned.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah, yeah. The silks.
SPEAKER_04Yo, imagine us 50 years old on the pod, like, yeah, man. Did you get your blue shoes today?
SPEAKER_07She's gonna be shining. Some blue loafers. Yo, let us get a synchronized. Yo, they're not ready for us in 50 years.
SPEAKER_06They're not.
SPEAKER_27I'm not even ready. Like, I'm pushing 30 and I'm about to cry every night.
SPEAKER_07Yo, shit hurts.
SPEAKER_27At least you're starting your life. I still haven't even met anyone.
SPEAKER_04Shout out y'all. Y'all single, send a single. She's ready for y'all.
SPEAKER_27I didn't say that. Never mind. Hold on. Like, I'm not ready to tell people where I'm going every day.
SPEAKER_04See, I play matchmaker. I don't like that shit. That's just me.
SPEAKER_27You know, like if I wake up in the morning, like I have to say good morning to you. Damn.
SPEAKER_07It becomes like natural.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna be real with you. There are days where I'll be leaving the house because I'd be so upset on going to work that like sometimes I forget.
SPEAKER_27I'll murder you.
SPEAKER_04It's not even on purpose.
SPEAKER_27This is why I don't want anyone. I'll forget. You see how I complain about it, but it's everything I want. Life is so confusing sometimes.
SPEAKER_04There's been several times where I had to like be like my bad J.
SPEAKER_07On everything, I'm kind of mad when I don't get the morning text at a certain time. It's like, all right, I text you at eight. It's 10. I hope you're busy as hell right now.
SPEAKER_04Cause I will be honest. When I'm at work, if I'm on my way home and she ain't text me yet, I'm like, damn, what's she doing?
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_27Start feeling unloved. Start freaking out.
SPEAKER_04That's a problem with men sometimes, I will say, because men don't really realize it until like until like a certain hour. Like it has to be a certain hour.
SPEAKER_07It's like you haven't left me.
SPEAKER_04There you go.
SPEAKER_27So everything else is important, but me. Y'all are emotional. I mean, yeah.
SPEAKER_04I mean, can you blame that on us?
SPEAKER_05Yes. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna hear your reasoning. I'm gonna let you go.
SPEAKER_27I feel like you guys just operated that way. Like, you have to hide being emotional your whole life. So when you finally found someone you're comfortable with, you let out these emotions and they come out a little bit more aggressive than you'd like because you've been hiding them for so long.
SPEAKER_04Cool, she said what I was gonna say. It's cool.
SPEAKER_27So like I don't I blame y'all, but I don't blame y'all, you know? It's kinda like, yeah, you y'all doing it, but you know, y'all were told to hide it for so long.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Which is oddly annoying because like it does like it does counter itself. It makes no sense to like not speak about what you're feeling about. Yeah.
SPEAKER_27I'll be honest though. Not in every setting. Yeah, I was I can't stand sometimes when men over-emotionalize the conversation. Like, if we can come to a common ground, let it be that. Why are you still going?
SPEAKER_04See, at that point, I just hit Rich U.
SPEAKER_27Vince, your homeboy. I'm okay with that. Vince your homeboy. Call me a bitch in the group chat.
SPEAKER_04But like see, that's that's kind of bad.
SPEAKER_27Stop talking to me before you call me the bitch to my face. I'm okay with that.
SPEAKER_04See, I don't call women don't bring the bullshit to my face. I don't call women bitch. He's a liar. I don't real man. I really don't. You don't have to. But like, it's it's honestly because I feel like if Jay ever saw the word bitch on my phone, she'll smack the shit out of me. And I'm not beat. Like, you know what I'm saying? I'm not beat. Like, I don't want to get my ass beat just for freedom of speech. Like, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_27Alright, what's a valid moment to call a girl a bitch?
SPEAKER_04What they do.
SPEAKER_27See, that was a trick question. I thought we just said we're never saying the bitch word.
SPEAKER_07On everything I love, I was gonna be like, there was never a valid moment, but he was cooking up. So I was like, yo, what did he what did he have to say? He's gonna save us.
SPEAKER_04I'm just bothered.
SPEAKER_26I thought he was gonna save us both.
SPEAKER_27I think you might have to go to the search engine on the messages. He said it before because there was one moment that was justified. My earring just fell out. All right. See?
SPEAKER_04See, I don't want smoke.
SPEAKER_27You don't want smoke? It's too late.
SPEAKER_04No, that's true. Why do you look so scared, Pookie? Yo, you know what it is?
SPEAKER_07I usually have the glasses on. Now I feel like putting them on, but.
SPEAKER_04Oh, is that what it is? Do you normally look this scared during pod?
SPEAKER_07Probably.
SPEAKER_27Wait, you look pretty calm and collected to me. Alright, cool. Yeah, like there's a breeze in the window. They turn the AC off. I'm sweating.
SPEAKER_04I feel like I'm just gassing it, honestly.
SPEAKER_27I got Jojoba oil on. Like, it's hot outside.
SPEAKER_04I will be honest. There are days where like me and him are potting, and I'm just like, yo, how can I come at him for him to just say something?
SPEAKER_15Like so it's like I'll be there listening.
SPEAKER_04You're a great listener, so am I sometimes. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07That shit's annoying though, because you'll be too good of listening. Now niggas wanna just dump everything on you. Like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute, brother. Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_27Am I a good listener? No.
SPEAKER_07I think so.
SPEAKER_27You think so? I think I have to care about you.
SPEAKER_07Ah.
SPEAKER_27I think I have like a cutoff. Like, there's some people who try to tell me too much, but I don't care about them enough. So I'm like, wow, I think my mom's calling. Or like, or like, I'll like pray that the microwave goes off and there's nothing in there.
SPEAKER_04Yo, what's like what's like the dumbest reason that you use? Like, do you ever say, like, oh, I gotta walk my dog or something like that?
SPEAKER_27That would be a dumb reason because I don't have one, but I'd still say it. I'd still say it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, let that shit fly. Yeah.
SPEAKER_27But then they might ask me, when did you get a dog? And I'll be so pissed. I'm not having this conversation right now. Yeah, no, I don't know.
SPEAKER_07I s my saving grace is uh finally.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I finally figured out where it was. There we go.
SPEAKER_07Now we back. My my greatest ally is when I'm stuck inside a conversation I don't want to have, then someone I care for calls me.
SPEAKER_27I'm like, oh like I love you. Oh, you're getting a Christmas card. It's my favorite thing to say to people when they do something great. Do they get one? No, they don't get one, but it's I'd send over the SOS.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like whenever I need like actual, like anybody to call me, it'll just be like, yo, SOS, real quick.
SPEAKER_26That's fucked up.
SPEAKER_07My friends be like, yo, five minutes from now, ten minutes, I'll be like, right now, nigga. Just press the call.
SPEAKER_27Damn. I think that's more hurtful than just making some shit up.
SPEAKER_04It's funny though, because like I mean, it's cool, it's passive. With me, you can kind of tell if I fuck with you or not. Like, if I don't fuck with you, like I'm not gonna sit there and waste my time talking to you.
SPEAKER_07Or I start getting disassociated. I'm like, damn.
SPEAKER_27No, literally. But I don't think you could tell with me because I'm the same person. Until you really do something that pisses me off, then you'll know I really don't mess with you. Like, you'll feel it. It'll be in the air, it'll be in the atmosphere, it'll be in the room.
SPEAKER_07It'll be in the tone.
SPEAKER_27Like, you'll just like don't ask me where the remote is. That was uh, you could take that out actually.
SPEAKER_26So, like I'm that was a direct shot.
SPEAKER_04But do you think they'll hear it though?
SPEAKER_27Um, yeah, because when I do like fuck with somebody, like you know. Okay, and you'll feel it like the way I love is like very strong, it's very hardcore, I'm very protective, things of that nature.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, I meant like remote guy or girl. Oh, remote guy.
SPEAKER_27Oh yeah, I heard they cry every night, but I don't know.
SPEAKER_07Hey, yo, yo, you're not gonna be kicking people's backs in over. Welcome to the show, then. If you're kicking somebody's back, oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Uh first Terry Cruz and now remote guy. Let's go. What?
SPEAKER_07It was Nicki Minaj. Yo, we got a list of people that they can just openly get their back kicked in on here.
SPEAKER_27Like, wait, really?
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_07Passionately, yeah.
SPEAKER_04We do it religiously, actually.
SPEAKER_07Okay, yeah. Not on purpose. It was just like somebody would say something, like, well, add it to the list.
SPEAKER_27No, yeah, Nikki's insane. But I will be honest, I do kind of like it as long as it's not towards me. Like, some of this shit she says, I'll be like, damn, like, that's some shit. Like, the once that whole Megan got shot in the foot line. Like, if I was the one that got shot, that would really hurt my feelings. Yeah, thankfully. But because it wasn't me, I'm like, wow. This is talent. This is talent.
SPEAKER_05Literally.
SPEAKER_04Oh sir. What you do this weekend, bro?
SPEAKER_07That's a good question.
SPEAKER_04I know, I never asked you that. It was good, bro.
SPEAKER_07I've been promoting this event.
SPEAKER_04Okay, let's go.
SPEAKER_07July 25th.
SPEAKER_27Okay. The pregame July 25th.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Oh shit, I got the shirt on. Yeah. See, I'm on promo mode.
SPEAKER_04Represent.
SPEAKER_27It's a good shirt, too. I was looking at the back. I like the colors, the purple.
SPEAKER_04Yo, I've been telling him I want a shirt. Yeah, it looks good.
SPEAKER_07But I gotta go get them pressed one at a time, though. So it's just why? Because we just we we went to a dude who like that's his thing. Like, he'll just press them on the fly.
SPEAKER_27Okay. Would you rather a bigger production faster?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, but it's not high demand.
SPEAKER_27So if I I can put you on with somebody actually. Oh shit. Oh yo.
SPEAKER_07See? That's what I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_27She can get you like a hundred shirts within two hours.
SPEAKER_07See, now that's what I don't need a hundred shirts right now because then I gotta store them somewhere.
SPEAKER_27Well, then if you need less, even better.
SPEAKER_04I mean, honestly, you could probably fit them all in a box and just give them away as goes.
SPEAKER_27No, get your money, honey. Yeah, you feel me?
SPEAKER_04Not give them away, but you know what I'm saying? Like you give them in a box and then like have it here. Like then when it's time to sell them, just sell them out.
SPEAKER_07Sell them at the event. Got them.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, you should always sell them at the event.
SPEAKER_07Nah, we use this as like custodian or like the go-to person.
SPEAKER_27Like, oh, so that's your uniform. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Okay, that's it. That's it. That's it.
SPEAKER_27Alright. I hate uniform.
SPEAKER_07I like it.
SPEAKER_27No, your uniform's cool.
SPEAKER_04I just I'm about to say, your uniform's cool because it's just a shirt. So it's like, you know what I mean? It's not like you're in there, like big boss business and shit.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's not like a button up or nothing. It's some slacks. Some khakis, right? Quarter zip.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Hey, hey, hey, not too much on the quarter zip now. That should get the job done.
SPEAKER_04Nigga, I'll fuck with quarter zips. I told you this.
SPEAKER_27You know what I don't like? Khakis with red shirts.
SPEAKER_04That's a specific five guys shirt.
SPEAKER_27Like, people really just put that on though, but I just see target. Like, I did a family photo shoot a couple years back, and the theme was like red, and we had like khakis.
SPEAKER_04I love how she said target and I said five guys. Like it was like our brain is here. I feel you. I got that.
SPEAKER_27But like I look back at those family photos and they've never been posted because I feel like we look like yo, I never see you post these shit. You will never see them. Ever. Heck no.
SPEAKER_07So what's up? Y'all, y'all ready to get into this? Like, yeah, I'm going with the flow.
SPEAKER_04I'm about to say, we already in it, bro.
SPEAKER_07Nah, we got mad topics, yo.
SPEAKER_04Like, I'm not gonna lie to you. I didn't, I had a busy ass week, so I ain't put shit at all. So you got me fucked up, bro. Oh, this is me? Yeah, bro.
SPEAKER_07This is this is that's why I'm on it like that. I'm like, yo, this got some shit going on.
SPEAKER_04That's why I'm chilling. I'm just letting conversations ride out today, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_07I don't like how he's winging it. Yeah, he's winging it.
SPEAKER_27He's usually one that's like and I'll be honest, I'm winging it too because what do you mean you didn't plan shit?
SPEAKER_04No, he is used to me like just taking over the entire show, but now I'm gonna let you go today.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, he's not bringing up topics and shit. I'm like, all right, so we're about to be here chatting this whole time.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna let you go, bro. I mean, technically. On a technicality, that is what we do. So that shit was cool, right?
SPEAKER_05No, I missed it.
SPEAKER_27She's like hard until you call that shit. I went to uh Disney World recently where I feel like I was in like this type of setting. Um you went to the Marvel shit? Not Marvel. What was it? It was Star Wars? Yes. Oh my goodness. I don't even watch Star Wars, y'all, but now I will.
SPEAKER_04So how's Disney as an adult?
SPEAKER_27Oh, it's the best thing in the world. I feel like all adults should definitely make it a thing.
SPEAKER_07Um Disney World or Disneyland.
SPEAKER_04I want to go to Disneyland so bad. I've never been.
SPEAKER_27Wait, is there a difference?
SPEAKER_04So there's Which one?
SPEAKER_07Where were you at? Orlando or California?
SPEAKER_27I was at Orlando. Oh, so Disneyland is in California.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's a little bit smaller and it has um more of the Marvel stuff than it does anything else.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_27Okay, okay. All right, gotta put that on my bucket list now.
SPEAKER_07Nah, you went to the better one apparently, because that shit's like everything.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's high key, the better one.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, it was definitely I you know what I like about it the most though?
SPEAKER_04What?
SPEAKER_27Um, they don't I love rides, I love roller coasters, but they don't overwhelm you with them. So you get a bang for your buck, meaning like you're gonna be able to get on every ride if you really plan it out and you show up at a decent time. Like you didn't even have to be there as soon as the park opens. You can go noon, one, and you're still gonna get on everything, even though the lines are like an hour long and those fast pass motherfuckers piss me off.
SPEAKER_07But you didn't get a fast pass, my girlfriend.
SPEAKER_27That was my biggest mistake. Next year I will in the middle of the line, I try to buy one, but they sell out too. Fast pass sells out. So I'm trying to buy one when I'm on the line. That pissed me off even more because I'm like, I'm willing to give y'all money to get me up this motherfucker. So you do get a little frustrated, but then once you're on the ride, it's like worth it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_27So it's cool.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I definitely would go back just because my family used to like my family used to go a lot, but like my dad personally was only there for Tinkerbell.
SPEAKER_27Explain that. We're not jumping over that at all.
SPEAKER_04Like at the end of the night where they have the castle and Tinkerbell starts flying over the castle. That's what he's there for. What?
SPEAKER_26Yeah, they didn't do that.
unknownOh no.
SPEAKER_04What they normally do, I don't know if they do it once a night or if they do it at like a certain time or once a week.
SPEAKER_27No, I was there for 4th of July.
SPEAKER_04And they didn't do that?
SPEAKER_27No, they did the fireworks and all that. First of all, that was the most unorganized situation I've ever been. I was being yelled at behind every video of my fireworks. I had to put music behind my videos when I posted them because get between the line. Go. I'm like, girl, just watch the damn show. Like, she's like, this is an emergency exit. I'm like, who's getting hurt right now? Like, if someone genuinely is getting hurt right now, I'm concerned. We are watching fireworks standing still. Like, but yeah, it was a lot. It was definitely overwhelming. I probably wouldn't do it again. One and done.
SPEAKER_06For 4th of July?
SPEAKER_27Yeah. Yeah. It was a one and done for me. I specifically went there for 4th of July because I wanted to see the fireworks above the castle. And um, I saw it and I'm good for life.
SPEAKER_07It's on the bug, it was just a bugger list.
SPEAKER_27I don't even think my kids will see the light of day. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07You gonna steal that joy from them?
SPEAKER_27They better go when they're 30.
SPEAKER_04Look, sometimes it's not their fault, bro. If you can't go, you can't go. There's certain things I won't bring Rocky to just because I had a terrible experience.
SPEAKER_07That's fucked up. He might not have the same experience.
SPEAKER_04He might not.
SPEAKER_06Yo, y'all both face shit. Y'all both face shit. Just like I mean.
SPEAKER_27I was mad at every stroller. And I was at the kid's place. Like, I was pissed off. Like, I was getting ran over by every stroller you can think of, every brand name you could think of. Two strollers, double strollers, triple strollers. The little fucking Walmart once. Like, I was getting ran over.
SPEAKER_07But you was accidentally like somebody we stand there, somebody just bumped into your back.
SPEAKER_27I mean, my toes were compromised, like every single toe was damaged. Yeah, both my big toenails were broken. You're you look shocked. I'm telling the truth.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I'm like, what the fuck? Maybe because I'm more um, whatchamacallit, courteous of people in a space. Oh, yeah, these people don't give a fuck.
SPEAKER_27They are zooming through these crowds, like zooming. They do not care. And then you can't even get mad because it's like, damn, there's a baby in there.
SPEAKER_04Okay, fuck them kids. So, like the most important question, though, right? Did you get your auto? Did you get an autograph or anything?
SPEAKER_27No, um, I didn't get an autograph, but I did get pictures with like Edna Mode, which meant a lot to me.
SPEAKER_04That's lit.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, like her bob was sitting, y'all. That was like a good bob moment. I loved her, and she she didn't talk at all. Yeah, okay. She didn't give me like the voice.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they do that. I think the only one that actually talks are like the princesses.
SPEAKER_27Yeah. Yeah, I don't I don't know. I felt weird going up to characters and taking pictures with them. I'll be honest, I think that might be the most awkward part as an adult. Like when you're a kid, okay. Yeah, but like waiting in line to take a picture with Boo and like monsters in characters.
SPEAKER_04Like, I was like See, I don't I wouldn't like taking pictures with them if they look like um like if they don't if they look like humans, I wouldn't want to take a picture with you.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, like a man in a costume, and then you're like, yo.
SPEAKER_04Well, no, it's different. Like if it's if it's Sully, like Monsters Inc. Sully, I might just be like, yo, what's good? Like, let me get this picture with you. Like, you got the mask on, less creepy.
SPEAKER_27You look like you'd hug Sully.
SPEAKER_07Yo, I was just thinking I'm like, I definitely see him getting a picture with Sully first.
SPEAKER_04If I look, if I take a picture with anybody first, it's motherfucking Stitch, you're oh that's it.
SPEAKER_27I think I would have gone crazy for Stitch. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_07Stitch is my favorite, but you would have got live action stuff. For sure. You would not have got like the old Stitch.
SPEAKER_27But I need him to do the voice. Like I need you to do it. I need you to really play. Oh, you know who really played her character well? Freaking um Ariel the mermaid. Or wait, no, who was it?
SPEAKER_07Which Ariel we got?
SPEAKER_27The black one or the black one.
SPEAKER_07We always got the black one. We always be she just wasn't invented like three years ago.
SPEAKER_27She was she was in character. I almost forgot that I wasn't under the sea. Like, she was in character.
SPEAKER_26I was like, wow, like if I was a kid, I'd be crying right now.
SPEAKER_07Was she singing or was she just like talking?
SPEAKER_27She was um talking in her very soft voice. Okay, okay, and like she made jokes that were appropriate, but also like, damn, that was pretty funny. And like she was saying like stuff about her human boyfriend, and like if you know the movie, the jokes hit. If you don't know the movie, you're probably really confused. So it just worked for me, but like she didn't judge me for being damn near 30 and enjoying. I mean, I hope not.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I wouldn't, I would hope that she wouldn't sit there and be like, no, don't fucking hug me. You're damn near 30. Like, I don't think you know what I mean.
SPEAKER_27I would have liked that too, though. I would have been like, wow, she's a bitch like me. This is a good one.
SPEAKER_04I'm low-key, I'm low-key gonna pre-judge just because when's your birthday?
SPEAKER_27Oh, July 29th.
SPEAKER_04Oh, well, happy almost birthday.
SPEAKER_27Thank you.
SPEAKER_04You are a Leo.
SPEAKER_27Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_04That makes sense.
SPEAKER_27All right, what are you gonna say about us? Here we go.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, y'all my best friend.
SPEAKER_27Wait, what are you?
SPEAKER_04Aries.
SPEAKER_27Okay, yeah. We're pretty much fire sign besties.
SPEAKER_26Whoop-dee-doo! What are you?
SPEAKER_07Fucking Aquarius.
SPEAKER_26Wait, you're my sister's sign though.
SPEAKER_27Aquarius and Leo's is- Oh, this makes sense.
SPEAKER_07Okay, yeah, there's a there's a chemistry, yeah.
SPEAKER_26Like, we can be assholes together.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, oh, that's how it goes? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I'm not gonna lie, like I that makes sense. Don't take it too offense, though.
SPEAKER_07Oh boy.
SPEAKER_04Like the entire time she was talking, I was like, I can see where someone would want to have B for her, but she's mad chill.
SPEAKER_07Like, she's not I sense you guys something. What?
SPEAKER_04She's mad chill. She got some ops.
SPEAKER_27I have no op. Just one op.
SPEAKER_04Is it remote guy?
SPEAKER_27It's remote guy. Oh man, and even he's trying to be back, my friend.
SPEAKER_07I'll be tuned in just to just get his hate off. I happily told you. You know, you know when you hate somebody so much you gotta watch their every move?
SPEAKER_05Stalker.
SPEAKER_04That sounds like Kendrick. Yeah, maybe.
SPEAKER_27Yeah. I have so much shit to say. Move on.
SPEAKER_04No, get your shit on. No.
SPEAKER_27So we want him to live long.
SPEAKER_04Are you sure?
SPEAKER_07See, he's he'd be the fucking thing. It's him.
SPEAKER_04I just asked the questions the public want to know. Keep going. Okay.
SPEAKER_07Alright, hold on, hold on, yo. We asked some questions the public want to know. Check this out, check this out, check this out, check this out. Because he said, he said, what did he say? What do you say, bro? So everybody got diarrhea?
SPEAKER_26Who said that?
SPEAKER_04Oh, because of the fucking the letters, bro. Or Taco Bell. I mean, it wasn't it wasn't just Taco Bell.
SPEAKER_26Wait, do people still eat Taco Bell?
SPEAKER_04Apparently, I guess.
SPEAKER_27No one should eat Taco Bell. I mean, it's alright.
SPEAKER_04I'm not gonna hold you. After I saw that video of like them washing the meat on the floor, I don't know if it's real or not. Excuse me. I don't care. I never want to eat Taco Bell after that. I'm be honest.
SPEAKER_26Excuse me?
SPEAKER_06What?
SPEAKER_27I don't know. All fast food to me at a certain age, it gotta go.
SPEAKER_07But you don't run to McDonald's where you're starving. You're like, yo, there's nothing else here.
SPEAKER_27McDonald's is like the air like I'm at a gas station, but no, I don't buy it.
SPEAKER_04Bro, I'm gonna be honest with you. Like a gas station. McDonald's like the bottom of my list, bro.
SPEAKER_26Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I ain't gonna lie. No, you're a Wendy's man? Okay.
SPEAKER_06Wendy's a little better. Yeah, yo, get out of here.
SPEAKER_27I don't anymore. No, it's been like maybe on going on two years. Oh, wait, no, I did have French fries the other day.
SPEAKER_04From where though?
SPEAKER_27None of your business.
SPEAKER_04But was it Wendy's though?
SPEAKER_27It was. Nah, I like Wendy's.
SPEAKER_05I fuck with Wendy's.
SPEAKER_27They got that Asian salad. So good. That shit is good. Come on. Like, yo, y'all. Give me my Clementine's.
SPEAKER_04Bro, I don't I don't know. Like, I don't like tasting shit that just tastes too processed.
SPEAKER_27You can taste it now, right?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_27I couldn't taste it before. Like, everything tastes the same to me. You couldn't tell me that the burgers at McDonald's weren't better than like the ones at my house.
SPEAKER_04But like now I can taste the difference between like all of that shit. And I'm just like, all of this shit sounds just it tastes disgusting.
SPEAKER_07They got lazy, man. That's what I hate.
SPEAKER_27Like, no, I think it was always like this.
SPEAKER_07No, no, no. I feel like there was a processing factor where there was like it's probably cheaper if we all get this same meat on the floor.
SPEAKER_04Well, yeah, the rest the recipe changed as soon as the shit turned into fucking gray central.
SPEAKER_07So like you said Grey Central. I'm thinking of when uh SpongeBob when they bit the Krabby Patty, and it was just all that gray shit in the center of. See, you was coming at me for mentioning SpongeBob. There we go. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And he was coming at me for mentioning Spongebob Day.
SPEAKER_07I know you celebrated Spongebob Day, yo.
SPEAKER_27Wait, what was Spongebob Day? I missed it.
SPEAKER_04July 14th.
SPEAKER_27What the fuck? I love Spongebob. That would have been a perfect day to wake up and eat three big bowls of cereal and just watch that shit.
SPEAKER_07You know they probably had that shit on 24-7.
SPEAKER_27Damn. And I missed it. Like my favorite one is the chocolate scene. Oh.
SPEAKER_26What are you selling? Chocolates.
SPEAKER_04Also, for anybody that's watching the video, I'm low-key watching this movie. It's not your fault.
SPEAKER_07You both have been watching this movie now just not singing at the TV. I'm like, nah, because all three of us can't be watching this movie.
SPEAKER_26It's so good.
SPEAKER_04It is. Like, that was fired just now. My fault is watching Deadpool and Wolverine. Anyway.
SPEAKER_07People hate the CGI part of this, but oh yeah, it looks fake.
SPEAKER_04Well, he looks like he's a PS2 character. Oh. On the load screen.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, he looks really fake. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_04I mean like he's breathing, like you ever played fucking um what was it? Street Fighter? Yeah. That's what it looks like.
SPEAKER_07Oh, he's doing that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like that's exactly what it looks like.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, but damn, yo, like I don't want Wolf Reen to look too real if it doesn't come with it. Like, whatever y'all can do to get him on screen, just do it.
SPEAKER_27Yo, why did they give him such a bulging well did y'all see what I saw?
SPEAKER_04No, I didn't see what he saw.
SPEAKER_26My boy is packing from left to right.
SPEAKER_27It's like everyone is flat, and then this motherfucker is just wearing a suit.
SPEAKER_04Cowboy pool's crazy. Anywho's.
SPEAKER_07Because that's Peter. Peter has uh he has a piercing on his dick or some shit like that.
SPEAKER_04Hey, yo, what? You didn't I I I look.
SPEAKER_07There's a line after this.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you're talking about Fat Peter?
SPEAKER_07Deadpool's man's Peter.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, fat Peter.
SPEAKER_07He's not fat Peter.
SPEAKER_04I call him Fat Peter because the other Peter I know is Peter Parker. Shout out.
SPEAKER_27I was about to say, did it come out yet? No. Damn, but like they've been promoting it for like months. Nah, it's getting annoying.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's super annoying.
SPEAKER_27I don't like when they do that. I have a low attention span.
SPEAKER_04To be fair, they needed like two weeks of the Odyssey to pass by so they can make their money.
SPEAKER_27I feel like if they announced it right now, it'd be more exciting because damn, two more weeks? Oh, that's it, and it would be more high demand. But they've been announcing it for so long, I felt like I had time to do whatever I want, forget about it, find something else.
SPEAKER_04So, like, I would love to say that if like you weren't in a room full of nerds. Because us, like, as soon as that week comes, like as soon as like the 27th comes, we can't think of nothing else but Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's over. Yeah, that is pretty nerdy.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, nah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like, like wholeheartedly, but oh no, I'm prepared to buy like five tickets for five different viewings of it.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, me too. I got like they got the regular one. Me and my me and my boy Shah were seeing it, and then I'm taking my dad and and Mickey to see it with my nephews, but then I'm seeing it by myself on Screen X. That one's wild.
SPEAKER_04So I think I'm actually gonna go opening day to see it in Screen X. I didn't want to, but Jay really wants to see it that way.
SPEAKER_07So it was filmed in Screen X. Screen X is like this screen, but it's like a vertical shit on the side, and it expands like the setting.
SPEAKER_04He's making it sound so much cooler than what it is.
SPEAKER_07So, like that's what they make it look like. I didn't never see that shit.
SPEAKER_04Nah, so like literally it's just three screens. Like that, like there's one in the middle, but like the two screens are on the wall.
SPEAKER_26Wait, where is this?
SPEAKER_07Like a regal or some shit like that. It's called Screen X.
SPEAKER_26What the hell?
SPEAKER_07And then there's 40.
SPEAKER_0440x is cool though.
SPEAKER_07I want to see the Odyssey in 40. I'm not gonna.
SPEAKER_04I will be honest with you. I haven't first of all, don't do that. You you're not gonna have popcorn by the end of that.
SPEAKER_07Do you know about 40x? No. All right, that's when the chairs start fucking moving and shit. Oh, yeah, take me there. Yeah, yeah, it's just fire. I love that, but it will like punch you in the back sometimes.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so like that was what I was about to say. Like, I only went once, and when I did go, it was for Scream 6. So whenever Ghostface would stab you, I got stabbed. I like that though.
SPEAKER_27I have knots in my back. Oh, you might fuck with it. I might fuck with it.
SPEAKER_07Like, ah, thank you.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, like I I want people to walk on my back, so I can only imagine. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Uh, I'm trying not to spoil not, it's not that you could really spoil the Odyssey because like it's everybody knows what happens in it.
SPEAKER_27I don't.
SPEAKER_07No, apparently, no one else had to read it during high school because we didn't know. You have to read it for freshman year. That's like the first book they made me read.
SPEAKER_04Did y'all go to the same school? No. No. Oh, okay. That okay.
SPEAKER_07I went in Jerry City.
SPEAKER_27I don't know if that's maybe why the dependent factor, but I've never heard of the Odyssey, I've never read about the Odyssey. I don't even know what it's about. I don't know anything.
SPEAKER_04A man's trying to find his way to it. No, no, I got you, bro. I got you, bro.
SPEAKER_27No, um, yeah, give a synopsis for everybody who doesn't know.
SPEAKER_04That's so wild. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_07Did you did you have to read the book too, or is it just me?
SPEAKER_04So, like, I had to read it. Did I read it? No. It's good, but I mean I don't even like reading books like that. So here's the thing, right? When I was trying to read it, the book itself is extremely fucking boring. Like it's like the way that is written, it's extremely boring.
SPEAKER_07Because it does that Shakespearean talk where they say, come hither.
SPEAKER_04But like seeing it on screen, thanks, bro. Sorry, every time I need to clear my throat, he clears it so it's just like I can clear it after. What?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's it's a sink. Oh like it's like when you throw your man's alley oop and I wanna try already.
SPEAKER_27Thanks.
SPEAKER_04But um, yeah, like the book itself is just boring. However, when you see it on screen, it's obviously an epic because the book itself is an epic.
SPEAKER_06It's epic as fuck.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but like not reading it though. Like you feel me, visually, it is still don't know what it's about. I got you. My bad.
SPEAKER_07So you're breaking out epics and shit.
SPEAKER_04Basically, this guy goes on a journey, and the journey's only supposed to last like a week. What the journey is for, nobody knows. If you can tell me about it.
SPEAKER_07Aren't they soldiers? They're soldiers and they're trying to fight um a certain they're trying to get to a certain spot, and that's when the whole Trojan horse thing comes, and then he's just trying to get him and his soldiers back home.
SPEAKER_04Okay, cool. Again, nobody knows why he's going on this journey. The reason why I say that, and fuck it, I'm just gonna spoil it for anybody that hasn't read the Odyssey, because you're getting me tight now. Here we go. So fuck you. So he goes on this journey, and it's basically a journey to defy the gods. Right?
SPEAKER_27So it's against my religion.
SPEAKER_07I guess it's it's against the prophecy that they're setting for him because they're like, yo, you're trying to get home, you're gonna get home, or your men are gonna die. You're gonna be the only one to get home. But here's the thing. I'm putting these niggas on my back.
SPEAKER_04Here's the thing, though. If you actually read the book and like look at the movie, in both, he goes out to this journey, and he later finds out on the journey, hey, by one of the gods, I think it was Poseidon, I could be wrong, by one of the gods, and was like, hey, you're going to survive regardless. We can't say the same for your men, but you're gonna come back home regardless. So, what was the point of bringing your men out there?
SPEAKER_07To fight this, to fight this battle.
SPEAKER_04There's nothing to fight. He was gonna live anyway.
SPEAKER_07He sounds selfish. He's not because he's like, yo, I'm bringing my men back home.
SPEAKER_27Okay, they were gonna die.
SPEAKER_07Not, but he's like he's vested to find the gods thing. He's like, yo, fuck what you're talking about. I'm bringing my men back home.
SPEAKER_04He left with his men though.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. No, but like, is it me? Wait, but they're trying to all get back home.
SPEAKER_04Yes, because they all left for no absolute reason.
SPEAKER_07You left to go fight a battle.
SPEAKER_04What battle?
SPEAKER_07Listen, bro, I don't I I don't remember the story. I just know that.
SPEAKER_04You wanna know why I know that you don't because the battle of Troy is at the end.
SPEAKER_07Wait, I thought that was in the beginning.
SPEAKER_04No, he goes back home and he kills everybody. Tough.
SPEAKER_26But like these are such boys.
SPEAKER_04But like he goes out for absolutely no, like, he does everything to himself to even harm himself, knowing that he's gonna get back home, but the rest of his friends are not.
SPEAKER_07Damn, son, he might be selfish.
SPEAKER_27I I I heard it, I heard it here first. Like, if I knew that all my friends were gonna die, but I was gonna survive, why the fuck would I tell y'all to come?
SPEAKER_06For the vibes.
SPEAKER_27For the vibes. Like, hey, you're all gonna die, but if you're with the vibes, let's go.
SPEAKER_06Let's go.
SPEAKER_04And don't get me wrong, I could be a tidy bit wrong, but I do feel as though that's how that movie went.
SPEAKER_27That's how you are even a little bit wrong. They're gonna cut you up.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, they're gonna cut me up, but I'd rather somebody correct me if that. You know what I mean? Now, yeah, that is pretty fucking cool, isn't it?
SPEAKER_05He looks copper.
SPEAKER_04He looks copper. Now even then, there were so many obstacles that were supposed to stop him from doing this shit. And meanwhile, he just kept going along with it because he knew he was gonna get home. But basically, he goes out on the trip, it's supposed to take him a week, maybe even three days. It takes him ten years. Oh, yeah, because I don't necessarily remember the reason why, but he hit an obstacle and it wasted like seven more years of his time.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, like every obstacle he ran into, it'll be like three years, two years, seven years. I know what I know which one he's talking about, seven, and he should have never came back, he should have just stayed.
SPEAKER_04But that's what selfish niggas do, they always go back.
SPEAKER_26I like that. Talk yo, she that's what selfish niggas do.
SPEAKER_27How long was this movie?
SPEAKER_06Three hours.
SPEAKER_27Oh, hell no. Let me tell you something. I never even y'all might cancel me for this. I've never even watched Titanic because it was two hours.
SPEAKER_07I watched I watched the last 45 minutes because that's when the ship breaks and everyone starts falling. I thought Titanic wasn't real, so I saw it as a kid and I used to laugh at the scene where the boat's falling and everyone's like falling down and shit like that. I'm like, ah, they funny. Look at this. And I thought it was like a horror movie. Because I like laughing at horror movies like obsession. Get to that after, but oh, I'm ready.
SPEAKER_04But go ahead.
SPEAKER_07So can we just spoil obsession for you? Once we get past his odyssey. Yeah, I don't give a shit.
SPEAKER_04Okay, cool.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, spoil it all. Like, I'll watch. I don't really care when people spoil movies. I really don't.
SPEAKER_04See, I'll be ready to fight. I mean, I don't care. So, like, I think I said it before too, but like, um, I don't mind spoiling, but I hate being spoiled. That's selfish. What? Just like Odysseus.
SPEAKER_26He's a part of the Odyssey.
SPEAKER_07He was the nigga leading them.
SPEAKER_04Hey, man. Odysseus.
SPEAKER_07It's played by Matt Damon, though. It's Matt Damon.
SPEAKER_04Is another selfish nigga.
SPEAKER_07Matt Damon's not selfish.
SPEAKER_04He's selfish in every movie he's in. Prove me wrong.
SPEAKER_07Jason Bourne wasn't selfish.
SPEAKER_04That's different. He got shot. Give me a different one.
SPEAKER_27That's different. You proved me wrong. Name another one.
SPEAKER_04I will say though, like, Interstellar, he was selfish. He was. And Interstellar, he literally had a group of men go up to space with him so he can go back by himself.
SPEAKER_07Yo, I'm liking this nigga's roles.
SPEAKER_04Yo. The Martian. The Martian might be the only one he's not really truly selfish in.
SPEAKER_07I never fully saw the Martian.
SPEAKER_04It's it's it's a good movie, but it gets boring.
SPEAKER_07See? And that's what I hate. Yo, that's what I hate when niggas will say this critically critically acclaimed movies where like, yo, the dialogue, the cameras, the visuals, it gets kind of slow an hour in and you might fall asleep, but there's times where it's epic. You're like, bruh, I'm not watching that shit.
SPEAKER_04Like, there's times I go in just for the visual itself, but like it has it depends on the movie and like what it is that they're trying to do. Like if it's like, say for example, like this shit, you know's gonna have amazing visuals, right? Yeah, however, if you want me to go ahead and be like, oh, you gotta go see the visuals to kill a mockingbird, I don't wanna fucking see that shit. Yeah, like you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_27Like it's like certain movies, but I feel like a lot of movies now are recycled, and I like have a really hard time with that where I just stopped caring about movies a little bit a while back, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Listen, care about obsession, yo. That shit all right, killer for me.
SPEAKER_27What is obsession?
SPEAKER_07So cool. So a dude likes his co-worker, and his man's who also works with him, like, yo, you're trying to do all this lovely double shit to get her attention. She's not like that, fam. Like, you gotta you gotta be cool. Like, you feel me? So straight up, he drops her off one day home and she's like, Do you like me? He was like, What? As a friend.
SPEAKER_04See, see, you skipped the whole thing, bruh. What did I skip? Because so before that, he goes into uh what type of shop is that?
SPEAKER_07Oh, oh, oh, oh, um, a witch shop.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he goes into a witch shop.
SPEAKER_07You know when girls want to go on shops and get like the crystals and fucking the glowy shit and the shit that you may curse a nigga with or something like that.
SPEAKER_04Like he went to there to go get her a crystal necklace because her crystal necklace fell down the dream. So he was like, Okay, I like you. I'm gonna try to make it up to you. I'm gonna go ahead, I'm gonna go buy you a crystal necklace.
SPEAKER_07So when he goes ahead and gets the crystal necklace, no, no, he didn't get the crystal necklace because he didn't like the options.
SPEAKER_04As I said, as he went to go get grammar, bro. He stumbled upon this thing called a one-wish willow. And basically, you open it, you make a wish, you break it. So when he dropped her off home, that's when that whole interaction happened where he was where she was like, Oh, like, do you like me? He's a nervous wreck, like he doesn't know how to talk to women all too much.
SPEAKER_07Alright, I wasn't gonna you shouldn't say bitch on the corner.
SPEAKER_12Don't look away now.
SPEAKER_04But she w my bad, I heard a kid. I was like, what the fuck is that? So he walks away, she walks away because she's like, Okay, you don't like me, dah da. He's in the car and he's like, fuck, I fucked up. So he opens up the one wish willow, he says, I wish this girl loves me more than anything in the fucking world. And he breaks it. Big mistake. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_04Mind you, always be careful what you wish for. Right. Type shit. So yeah, that's that's where everything starts going. Shit.
SPEAKER_27Wait, I don't mean to even interrupt, but uh, you know how those AI videos on Instagram come up? I saw this. They did a small clip about like exactly what you're talking about, and it was about a guy working in a supermarket or whatever, and he buys this one wish willow, and then the girl becomes super obsessed and won't leave him alone. She's like, No, you can't go anywhere. Uh you could wait for me at home. No, I'm gonna be right here. So it's basically about that girl becoming obsessed with him off of one wish.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. And it was one of those you really want to know?
SPEAKER_07Not her.
SPEAKER_26He dies, she kills him.
SPEAKER_04No, she doesn't, she doesn't kill him at all. So are we just gonna go through the whole movie? I think we're gonna go through the whole movie.
SPEAKER_07Let's fast track through the movie.
SPEAKER_04Nah, nah, high school.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, just tell me how he dies.
SPEAKER_04Okay, cool.
SPEAKER_07So he I don't want to get right there. Like, there was so much stuff leading up to him overdosing off of oxycodon before we get there.
SPEAKER_27Oh, he just had a lot of problems.
SPEAKER_08We were having a nice day.
SPEAKER_07So she tries to pity him because she's like, uh, my dad's dying from cancer. So that's the whole because everybody's seen this shit too. They was like, yo, nigga, she did not care about you. Now the next day, she's not leaving you alone. So they're thinking that he's doing a sympathy call. That's what I would have been I would have been grinding like that. Like, yo, listen, bro. My bad you can't keep Matthew Bone. Like, yo, I would have been going crazy. But he's like, nah, her dad died, she needs companion. But people are like, you're using her, you're taking advantage of her because her dad died, so you're using a sympathy card. When in reality, he's like, not as bitch, just obsess with me. Like, there's nothing else to it.
SPEAKER_04So then he takes her on a date.
SPEAKER_27Damn, all this before the date. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh no, I already did my spiel. Go ahead, bro.
SPEAKER_07So he brings up the fact, he's like, yo, so how's your dad doing? And then she's like, No, I don't want to talk about that.
SPEAKER_27He didn't have cancer, did he?
SPEAKER_07So his man's called him and was like, yo, bro, I talked to our other coworker. Her dad doesn't have cancer, he's healthy as a mule. I don't know what the fuck's wrong with him.
SPEAKER_27So then wait, you know, I had three guys tell me they had cancer this year and they didn't?
SPEAKER_07Damn, worry.
SPEAKER_04Hey, yo, can we keep these?
SPEAKER_27I'm triggered. What was that? Triggered right now.
SPEAKER_07They were trying to get you tough.
SPEAKER_27I was like, damn, y'all living a healthy life while I'm over here dying from lupus. Y'all have cancer.
SPEAKER_07That's not funny, but now it's funny because they was trying to they was trying to get that uh emotional empathy. Said, ah, I too am dying.
SPEAKER_04No, honestly, no, like literally. Yeah, pause this whole obsession shit. Really?
SPEAKER_27No, I'm not even joking. They might be obsessed. I'm not even joking to you. One was drunk, so I really believed it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_27The next day they had to tell me that they were lying. The other one is still going strong with this lie, but looking great.
SPEAKER_07Not a bold head on him right now.
SPEAKER_27Nah, nothing wrong.
SPEAKER_04So wait, like, I don't know if I can ask, but like, I'm gonna ask anyway. So, like, the second guy, like, you already caught him. Like, he's literally just walk. How did you catch him?
SPEAKER_27Well, okay, so how it all happened is I was leaving and never coming back. And then it was like, yeah, then it was all like started crying. And I was like, whoa, what's going on here? And then he was all like, I have cancer. And I was like, wow. And I dropped everything, and I was like, oh my god, like, let's start going to the doctor's hospitals, like, like, what can we do to help? What did they say? And then he was like, Well, I never went to the doctor yet. So I was like, Oh, so you don't know? And he was like, No, but I have a feeling, and then he starts telling me how his dad had it, how his family background. So I was just like, Okay, but we still need to go get you tested. So then he was like, all right, after my birthday.
SPEAKER_08Go ahead, Nick. Go ahead, Nick.
SPEAKER_04Sorry, I really hate men. Like, genuinely.
SPEAKER_07Like, see, that's the shit I was telling you earlier. Sometimes, like, it's not even yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_27He definitely uh so I was really concerned. I'm not gonna lie. I'm I I have like empathy for people. Like, I think he knew that I was gonna be concerned and not leave him alone because of that. And so he was right, he won.
SPEAKER_07Tough made her obsessed. I like this.
SPEAKER_27Oh, I was not obsessed, I just didn't want anyone to die. Like, at least not on. On bad terms. Like, if you're gonna be out of here, cool. But like, let's be able to show up to the funeral and be like, yeah, me and him were close.
SPEAKER_07Like, so we were rocking out.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, we were rocking out, damn. But yeah, I definitely let months go by. The birthday came, I'm like, okay, let's go get you tested. To this day, he's not got tested for it at all. Yeah, because I got this nigga some Tums and the pain he was complaining about went away. That was sign one. Like, Tums and Ginger Rail are not supposed to solve cancer. But he started going to the gym and working out and shit, and I don't know. Like, I'm like, wow, this nigga really. I was just scared at the ceiling one day, like, this nigga a liar. Yeah, this really happens. This really happens.
SPEAKER_07Now the cancer card is crazy.
SPEAKER_27You know, from three different people is crazy. I don't know why it, you know, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Like, first of all, you already know a nigga's lying about cancer where they don't even give you a type of cancer. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_27But yeah, lie better.
SPEAKER_04Like, like at least know your diagnosis.
SPEAKER_07I wouldn't even lie about that because that shit might come one day.
SPEAKER_27I'm saying.
SPEAKER_07This time you just don't lie about that.
SPEAKER_27But then you're not a liar. I don't know. I'm okay with that. I'd rather have not been lied to. Joe, I don't mean that.
SPEAKER_04I'm sorry. I still need a minute.
SPEAKER_07She said three niggas lying about cancer.
SPEAKER_04Yo.
SPEAKER_27Like, yeah, I put that on everything.
SPEAKER_04Now, what about the third one?
SPEAKER_27Just straight up said I had cancer.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_27There was really no dramatic. Yeah, there was really no dramatic. I don't think he even wanted me to stay in his life. He just kind of said it. Maybe he was telling the truth.
SPEAKER_04One out of three, that's cool. One out of three is nuts.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, that's that's the other two ruined it for him. Because you came last, my nigga. Like, I don't believe none of y'all.
SPEAKER_07Like, either get the chemo, I just don't hit you.
SPEAKER_27Like, let me see the test results. Let me see the paper. Let me like let me come with you. Let me look worse than me. Let me see some shit.
SPEAKER_07Like, I want to see you weak and down.
SPEAKER_27Right.
SPEAKER_04If it makes you feel better, your nails are pretty, at least.
SPEAKER_27Oh my god, I have to get them done. Don't look at them.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_27That's right. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04What?
SPEAKER_06It's not bad.
SPEAKER_04I like the color.
SPEAKER_27Okay, thanks, thanks, thanks. You know what's crazy? I got the most compliments from guys. You guys like orange. I think it's the Nick's fault.
SPEAKER_04You know, funny enough, I'm actually I have a weird infatuation with like yellow.
SPEAKER_27Oh my god, butter yellow. It's my favorite color for the summer, but you have to say it like that. Say it butter yellow.
SPEAKER_04Butter yellow?
SPEAKER_27No, you're not saying it right. Butter.
SPEAKER_04Butter?
SPEAKER_27What the fuck is that? Butter yellow. Wait, like shea butter?
SPEAKER_04Like B-U-D-D-A or B-U-T-T-A?
SPEAKER_07H. There's definitely an H at the end of that shit. Butter.
SPEAKER_27I think it's a T T.
SPEAKER_04Okay, yeah. Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_27Butter yellow.
SPEAKER_04Butter yellow. Okay. Alright.
SPEAKER_27Love that color. What? As soon as the one hot day came around, I got a butter yellow.
SPEAKER_06But yeah, look at you.
SPEAKER_04I was happy he never questioned me about it because ever since like I started doing like music videos for him, I always used yellow and I never knew why. I kind of just used it.
SPEAKER_27What do you mean, yellow, like in the text or tint?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like yellow, like if I'm doing like a graphic or something on his black skin?
SPEAKER_26Like, we're supposed to get blue lights. He made it work. Let me see.
SPEAKER_04Oh, don't gas me up, nigga. Like, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_07Nah, we can't show you the old videos. Oh. Oh, yeah. Time every episode.
SPEAKER_04I do that shit old time. I love it.
SPEAKER_26We've been talking for an hour. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Went by quick.
SPEAKER_07That's why I timing. Cause I'm like, how long have I been sending it?
SPEAKER_04Yo, there was a day, like, shout out Kayla Taylor. There was one of those episodes that we did. It almost hit four hours.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_04We had to stop.
SPEAKER_07I don't think we have enough storage.
SPEAKER_05Gotcha. Gotcha.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, let me tell, hold on. Let me tell you the rest of this fucking movie.
SPEAKER_27Oh, you see, that's how bad I am with movies. I stopped giving a fuck.
SPEAKER_07Yo, go ahead though. Alright, all right. So, so boom. She's infatuated with this nigga. Like, he left to go to work. She stood at the door, waited for him, pissed her pants, standing there waiting for him.
SPEAKER_04Like pissed and shit.
SPEAKER_27That's a dirty bitch. Yeah. Are they white? Of course. Because that didn't sound like a black woman. We would have found something. She was just there like even a plastic bag, maybe.
SPEAKER_07Like she, it was just, it was, it's crazy. But she's he's finding out all these things, and everyone's just like, yo, this chick's acting crazy. He knows what the fuck's going on.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_07And he's letting it ride out. So he ain't shit. Like, like.
SPEAKER_04Not only that, but like genuinely speaking, like, there is nothing he was able to do about it.
SPEAKER_07The dude said you could kill yourself.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_04So you want so he went back to the shop.
SPEAKER_07He went back to the shop. The dude was like, uh, he was like, ah, you fucked up. Yeah, it happens all the time. And then the the plot armor was crazy fire. Cause he was like, because he was running in there to get more. He was like, ah, you can't do it again. You can only make one.
SPEAKER_04And he was like, so yes, now remember why he died. Continue. Continue. Now I remember why he died.
SPEAKER_07So he's like, if you get somebody that fucks with you to make a wish, like to unwish your wish, like you should be alright, or you can just kill yourself.
SPEAKER_04So then he went to his man's. Then he went to his man's because he had a he had a plan thought out. He was like, Alright, I'm gonna go ahead, I'm gonna get another one wish willow.
SPEAKER_07He grabbed two of them things.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna give it.
SPEAKER_07Which I like. He grabbed two. He didn't just grab one, he grabbed two.
SPEAKER_04Smartest thing ever seen a white person do. Um, so then he went to go ahead, give it to his boy. It was like, hey, I need you to reverse this wish. So he told him how to do it. As he's trying to explain to him what to say, because you have to be very careful with the words that you use.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_04His boy cuts him off and he's like, I wish I had a billion dollars, breaks it, starts raining money.
SPEAKER_27I ain't gonna lie, me too.
SPEAKER_07What he said, I won't give a fuck my man's, bro. Why are you telling me I could wish?
SPEAKER_27But I only have one chance. You want me to waste it on you and this girl?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, no, come on. So then so then he falls to his knees as the money's coming down, and he's like, bro, look at this. And he's like, I'm cooked.
SPEAKER_26Like that was a baby violin moment.
SPEAKER_04So then he goes back to her house, I believe. He goes back to her house. No, his house, because she's been staying there. Oh, yeah, she's been sitting and pissing on the floor this whole time. So the whole time.
SPEAKER_05Just sometimes when he goes to work, he bought a nervous dog.
SPEAKER_04So he's actually ready to go ahead and kill himself. So in the beginning, he already takes oxies.
SPEAKER_07Nah, he did something else. He was about to shoot himself. He had the gun. He was in, he locked himself in the bathroom.
SPEAKER_04She's like, open the door, open the door, and he put his hand like behind his head.
SPEAKER_07He put it to his chest first.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but then he put it in his mouth. It's so unimportant because he was like, Fuck that. I'm not doing this shit. Like, he's basically like, I'm not gonna shoot myself in the face. Nigga, are you shooting yourself in the mouth?
SPEAKER_07No, I would have shot the chest one, look clean, the chest one, he could have just did it, it happened, now he's bleeding out.
SPEAKER_04So Well, no, because that's long and painful.
SPEAKER_27I wouldn't die at all. I'd kill her.
SPEAKER_07That was also an option.
SPEAKER_04It was, but like he he so earlier in the movie as well, there's a point where like she's dead asleep. And when she's dead asleep, he's trying to sneak out because he's trying to go talk to this girl that actually has a crush on him.
SPEAKER_07Fucking idiot. She's like, she's like, I'm pulling up on you. I gotta tell you something. He's like, I can't meet. She's like, Alright, cool, I'll pull up to the front. Wait, this obsessed girl?
SPEAKER_04That I mean, that's that's uh first of all, she didn't know. Secondly, don't pull up to a nigga's house after he just said I can't right now. Yeah, like that's I'm it's not, you know. But besides the point. So then he goes ahead, he takes oxies, and he takes a whole bunch of them because he's ready to die at this point. Last minute, he's like, I don't want to do this. So he tries to throw up.
SPEAKER_06He's such a pussy, yeah.
SPEAKER_04He just took mad oxies like as he tries to throw up, all of a sudden everything kind of stops. And you're like, what the fuck is going on? She took the one wish Willow and made a wish saying, Oh, I wish she was in love with me as much as I'm in love with him.
SPEAKER_27So he's trying to throw up, and he's just like so now they're both obsessed with each other.
SPEAKER_07So now he's looking at her smiling, and then he literally falls to his knees. Because he didn't get to throw up yet?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Dark shit. Fucked up.
SPEAKER_07So she's like, so she's all she's like, no, no, and then once he dies, she's like, Wait, what the fuck is going on?
SPEAKER_04No, so he he dies. So since he died, she was just like, Oh, well, I'm so obsessed with you at this moment, I'm gonna go kill myself too.
SPEAKER_07She was about to kill herself, yeah.
SPEAKER_04And then she snapped out of it because his soul left.
SPEAKER_07So she was like, What the fuck is going on? She threw his body down, she was like, What the fuck is going on?
SPEAKER_27Like, so in the end, she wins.
SPEAKER_04Basically, and she got a billion dollars.
SPEAKER_27Uh wait, what happened to the friend?
SPEAKER_07She offed him.
SPEAKER_04Yo, I'm gonna be real with you. She she offed a bunch of niggas. I ain't gonna like the girl that we were just telling you about. Oh, yeah, yeah. That's a bunch of niggas for me.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that scene.
SPEAKER_04That's why that's a bunch of niggas to me. That scene was fire. So, how gra I mean, this has already been as graphic as it can get. So, um, basically, she runs out of the house and realizes that he's talking to the girl in the car.
SPEAKER_07Like, they're just chatting. Like, I would have been terrified of been chatting with her that long. I'm like, yo, bro, you're chilling, like you don't got a crazy bitch sleep in the crib right now.
SPEAKER_04She dead ass runs outside, takes a brick, smashes the window, puts it on the steering wheel, and just wah wah wah wah wah.
SPEAKER_27I'm not going out like that.
SPEAKER_07No, the way, the way she pulled up to the car, because all you just seen is like a shadow, foom, that shit was mad fast. Like, like the girl didn't even know she was getting murked.
SPEAKER_04You know what's funny about that though? The entire time I was watching that scene, I was sitting there like on the couch, just moving back.
SPEAKER_06You're like, it's gonna happen.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like I knew something was about to happen.
SPEAKER_27And like I am gonna watch this shit. I will watch it with I'm convinced, I'm convinced now.
SPEAKER_04It's hikey, it's hikey crazy. I had no faith in it. What's funny?
SPEAKER_27What's funny is I can't like eat a girl dinner watching this.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, we can't, it's not graphic.
SPEAKER_27No, I know. That's why I probably smile the whole time.
SPEAKER_04It's I mean, besides her like smashing girls' face into a brick.
SPEAKER_07That's just the one scene. It's mad funny because it was like this is just a documentary of dating a Latina woman, and it just becomes funny after that. Like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04So Latinos just smash your head against bricks? No, all right, cool.
SPEAKER_07No, I'll just I don't know, honestly. If if you see they might sure if I gotta save my life. If you're in a van pulled up in another in in a girl, she pulled up to you at 3 a.m. and y'all both just sitting outside, and then you hit her with the relax, you're done. Yeah, you're done. What?
SPEAKER_27You're done right there, brick to the neck. Relax. I'm triggered right now. Y'all not even maybe not gonna post nothing today.
SPEAKER_07Nah, this show's fire. What happened to with the billion dollars is uh he ran back home. His man's following shortly after as she's banging on door. He's like, bro, he's like, come out, I got a billion dollars. And she he scared her, so she's like, phone, shot him, headshot, like just straight headshot.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_07So somebody got a bill.
SPEAKER_04I will be honest though. I love when like niggas die in movies for no reason. Like, that was your fault. Like, you should have just gone home, took your money and went, bro.
SPEAKER_07Like, he had a billion dollars in his pocket.
SPEAKER_27I'm still hurt when they killed Chris Brown within the first five minutes of the damn movie.
SPEAKER_04She's hard. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. I was a Chris Brown hater. Wait a minute. Wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_27Are you a Breezy fan? I love Breezy. Breezy, if you're listening, I love you. I would like tickets to the Usher and Breezy concert. Thank you.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god. First of all, you don't gotta give it to me, Chris. Give it to her. She deserves it. You're the first guest that I had that like Chris Brown just as much as I do.
SPEAKER_27Like, I love him. I've been a fan since I was a kid.
SPEAKER_04Since run it?
SPEAKER_27What? Like, I the whole album I had on my little MP3 players. Oh my god. I went to go buy concert tickets when I was just a little girl as a Christmas gift, and he canceled that tour because he got the flu.
SPEAKER_04Richie, I'm fucked up, bro.
SPEAKER_27Like seems to love Chris Brown.
SPEAKER_07You don't like Chris Brown? I I I fuck with Chris Brown.
SPEAKER_27Oh, you don't love him.
SPEAKER_07He's a legend. I got Chris Brown CDs over there. Like, I do fuck with Chris Brown.
SPEAKER_27Like, he can dance, he can join.
SPEAKER_04Okay, but like when you say you got Chris Brown CDs over there, like which ones?
SPEAKER_07I got fame and fortune.
SPEAKER_27Oh, he's not a real fan. Yeah, no, no, what? No, those are like right now.
SPEAKER_07Like Oh, you thought I had like some old johns?
SPEAKER_27Yeah, take it back to when he wore like the white suit with the hat.
SPEAKER_07I was hating. There was a certain ad when he was on the rise, like that that scene when they killed him. I got mad because they were playing it in uh in our grade school, the cafeteria, they had hanging TVs. So somebody's dumbass decided to bring a bootleg virgin to stomp the yard. And I'm like, bro, why do we have to sit here and watch this Chris Brown movie? And then he got murked. I was like, mmm, you got me.
SPEAKER_04Yo, you hated my attention.
SPEAKER_07As a kid growing up, you're supposed to hate Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.
SPEAKER_04Well, I didn't hate either.
SPEAKER_07Because they got all the girls. Yeah, because girls are like licking the posters. You like fucking.
SPEAKER_04Yo, you must have really hated these niggas when he went on the track together. You had to.
SPEAKER_07Nah, I got that CD. That's just pretty hard. That was my song. I ain't gonna lie to you. Nah, yeah. I love it.
SPEAKER_04See how niggas switch up? That's cool, bro.
SPEAKER_07That's cool. So anyway, you're going to the Usher Chris Brown show.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no. She wants tickets, so that's all.
SPEAKER_27I might go. I'm not gonna lie. Last time I went to his last um conference. Breezy Bowl? Yeah, Breezy Bowl. I think I bought the tickets like a week before. And I got a good deal, and my seat was pretty fucking lit. Honestly, that's the trick right there. Buy the ticket the day of or the day before, and you're getting a closer seat than someone who paid like a thousand dollars.
SPEAKER_04Eight months. So like I may or may not be going. Part of me doesn't want to go because it's like it's just breezy bowl with Usher, essentially. Like from what I've been seeing.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I don't want to see Usher's chest too much.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. I have my beef with Usher, but that's just me.
SPEAKER_06Whoa, Usher.
SPEAKER_27But I'll say, but like that would be iconic to watch him live. He's not gonna be here for a long time. Like, I have this thing where I think famous people and people that I admire or listen to are gonna be alive forever.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, and then they die. And then they die.
SPEAKER_27And I'm like, what the fuck? I didn't get to see you.
SPEAKER_07Like that was me with Nipsey Yeah.
SPEAKER_27So it's like you think you have time, and then it's like you'll never see them perform. And seeing artists perform live for me makes me appreciate them a lot more.
SPEAKER_04That's actually it's not not a funny story because it's it's very sad, but um 20. He was like funny story, less funny. 2019 Rolling Loud. Uh-huh. I went and that was my first and only time to see Juice World. And I was like really excited to see him, and then like a year later he passed away. Maybe like a year or two.
SPEAKER_27And that boy was young.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_27Oh man. I didn't go to Rolling Out. What did I go to? Made in America.
SPEAKER_04Always wanted to go. How is it?
SPEAKER_27It's so good.
SPEAKER_04Is it?
SPEAKER_27It's really worth it. Um, I saw a lot of artists within an hour time span.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's the best.
SPEAKER_27I got to see Justin Bieber live. I got to see J. Cole.
SPEAKER_04I'm jealous. I never saw Justin Bieber.
SPEAKER_27He's really good.
SPEAKER_04I yeah.
SPEAKER_27He's really fucking good.
SPEAKER_04I think he's performing right now with MetLife.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, for the soccer thing. The soccer thing.
SPEAKER_04That was all right.
SPEAKER_27Uh, bring basketball back.
SPEAKER_07Oh sick of you FIFA niggas. You didn't know it was this many, right?
SPEAKER_27Yeah, shout out to Capo Verde. That's the only one.
SPEAKER_04But uh it's funny because, like, like me personally, I don't really give a fuck about sports at all. Like, I only really care about football and basketball. And even then, football is the only one that I follow.
SPEAKER_27Football over basketball?
SPEAKER_04It's it's more scheduled out for me. Because it's either you're gonna get it on a Sunday, Monday, or Thursday where basketball is like every other day.
SPEAKER_27Oh, this nigga's old. Yeah, yeah. Once you start making shit different, it's like, ah. It works for my schedule, you know. I go to sleep at 8 p.m. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I'm an old ass man, hikey. I will say. Yeah, I will say hike.
SPEAKER_27No, that's true. Football games don't fall into a 2 a.m. time radius. Like basketball, you never know what time you're going to sleep.
SPEAKER_04Midnight. Granted.
SPEAKER_27Past midnight, this freaking finals. I was sitting here with my eyes like this, had to tape my eyelids up.
SPEAKER_04I'm about to say, granted, playoffs and finals, they're all day.
SPEAKER_06But yeah.
SPEAKER_04Regular season, I can't do it.
SPEAKER_27This one had me screaming in the streets. I ain't even gonna lie. Like, I was outside, like, yeah. But I don't know, Wemby, give him two more years, undefeated.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, he's definitely gonna win.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, he just needs that to control his body a little better.
SPEAKER_04And stop being a cocky little shit.
SPEAKER_27No, but he's so young. I give him a pass.
SPEAKER_04So, like, he is super young, and that's how you act when you're young, but at the same time, like that's how you act when you're human. There has to be some type of lock-in factor.
SPEAKER_07We knew the shit, right?
SPEAKER_04Just in your craft, not even like anything, you know what I mean? But like, when it comes to your craft, you lock in.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Y'all making it sound like you just need a little bit of humble pie. I don't think so.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, he definitely did to me. You think so? Yeah, a little bit. Because I'm I'm gonna be honest, like you watched the finals, so you've seen like the shit that he was doing to Brunson and shit like that, that was totally uncalled for.
SPEAKER_27Um, damn.
SPEAKER_04Granted, I get you're playing the game and it's the finals, and you're trying to win your first ring, and it's a little it's gonna be intense.
SPEAKER_27There's gonna be intense moments, but well, that's why I said he just needs to learn how to control his body a little bit more. I mean, when your arms are as long as your legs, yeah, and your torso is as long as the fucking tree, you know, everything's gonna look aggressive, everything's gonna probably hit every single body part of your opponent. Yeah, but him. You're gonna step on toes, but they were grabbing him too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but he grabbed him by like the neck.
SPEAKER_27Like, after being grabbed so much, but after being grabbed so much, that's like me pinching through pinching you right now throughout this entire interview. At some point, you're gonna knock my ass off the couch, and they're not gonna see that I've been pinching you. You know, they're just gonna see that you knocked my ass off the couch, and then you're gonna be the aggressor, the person who's like not playing fair. And you know what? I'm gonna run with that narrative.
SPEAKER_04I like the way you think.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, because I really love basketball, and like at the end of the day, it's street ball for me. I know I'm not going into that WNBA. And when I used to play basketball in the streets, it's gonna happen. You're gonna get me, I'm gonna get you, but it's been really a sensitive type of referee game moving forward. I feel like they call every fucking thing now, even with the girls' basketball teams, how they're doing A Brees, how yeah, how they're doing everybody, like everything's a fucking foul nowadays, when really it's just the fucking game. Like, they're fine, they got up. Now, if someone broke an ankle and like I see a mark, I'll be like, oh damn, okay. But like, I mean, even when they call the part where um Brunson's hand went through the um, what was his name? I can't remember, but his hand went through the dreads. That's a new foul, they said.
SPEAKER_04What foul was that?
SPEAKER_27Yes, his hand went through the hair, and they said your hand can't go through hair because that's technically contact.
SPEAKER_04Did he pull it? No, so what the fuck?
SPEAKER_27What the fuck? Exactly. That's what I'm talking about it's getting real sensitive out here where they're just calling anything and everything. And I also feel like there's a big bias, like, oh, I want this team to win, oh, I want this team to win, or we get more money if this team keeps winning.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, from what I heard, like it was supposed to be the Spurs to win.
SPEAKER_27Like they even had not what the Simpsons and the um Epstein Files said. Epstein Files said the Knicks were gonna win.
SPEAKER_07Did it? It did, it wasn't redacted.
SPEAKER_27It said 2026, Epstein Files, the Knicks were gonna win their first playoff season. I had no fucking fear. I started betting money. I'm like I believe that shit.
SPEAKER_04But like the NBA, I don't I think all this shit is rigged. However, from what I've seen, like if you look at like all the NBA championship shit, they're like black. Like it's not blue and orange. Like they're like black and white shirts because it was supposed to be the Spurs. Oh, I know what you're talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, then they changed it last minute because they were like, oh shit, the Knicks won.
SPEAKER_07What if they just didn't expect the Knicks to win? Because they're like the Knicks to win.
SPEAKER_04Nobody expected the Knicks to win. They didn't win over 50 years.
SPEAKER_27I 100% expected them to win. Like a hundred percent. The way they played together was just insane. I haven't seen chemistry like that on a team since forever. And then to know that it was my Knicks, because I've secretly been a Knicks fan my entire life.
SPEAKER_05But secretly, like Yeah, she came out the Warwick.
SPEAKER_27Yes. What? If you know me, you know that I like, I love the Knicks, but I wasn't outside talking about something, yeah. I'm a Knicks fan. I was I was really fucking embarrassed half the time. We lost everything.
SPEAKER_04You know how hard it is to be a Giants fan? Yeah.
SPEAKER_27And I'm a Giants fan too, so I'm not about to like that's a big struggle. I like the Knicks and the Giants. Are you kidding me? And I'm a girl. You know how many times people would eat me up in a room? It was, yeah, it wasn't the best. So this is the first time I could be loud and proud. So it may look like I'm a fake fan, but in the like, if you knew me, like in this quiet, I was I was the Knicks fan forever, but I knew they were gonna win this one. Just because uh the Spurs has a young team. Of course, they're more energy, they're great. Um, half of them are from Jersey. Shout out to us, but um Yeah, Jersey helped them get that. Yeah, they're just too young. They need it. This is their first time in the playoffs, they were just too young, and I just knew like when you're too young, sometimes, like you said, the whole cocky thing or just playing a certain way. They have the talent, but they don't have the experience. Okay, and Knicks, they have the experience and the talent at this point. That beats everything.
SPEAKER_04I think I was more because even watching the whole series, I was I didn't really care about Wendy. I cared more about Steven Castle, about um, I forgot the other guy's name. But there's like two other people on that team that I feel like really, really were playing for that title.
SPEAKER_27That young kid from Jersey. Yes, yes, I don't know his name, but yes, he showed the fuck out. He's a great player. That's another one who's gonna be a beast in a couple of years. Yeah, they're all gonna be beastie.
SPEAKER_04I mean, a lot of a lot of people are trading right now, but that's besides the point because I know nothing more about basketball besides that.
SPEAKER_27I mean, get your big check now is usually what that is. I don't like a lot of like that's why I think they commended Brunson for what he did about taking the pay cut, because a lot of players don't know.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, because it gave the team energy.
SPEAKER_27And then it's also just like you never know when you're gonna get a big deal again. Yeah, you know, so take the biggest deal now because after that you may not see the same numbers. So a lot of players do it for the money, and then you have players who do it for the long run, and that's why he was so respected and commendable. But I think you know, like his dad's a part of this shit. Like, he made a big name for himself, he had all the your short jokes.
SPEAKER_04See, I'm not even a Knicks fan, and even that gotta be like a little teary dyed. You know what I mean? Like, it was nigga was crying a little bit, a little bit.
SPEAKER_07His dad is an old G Knicks fan, though, so it's like you should have been in there crying.
SPEAKER_04It was a lot of shit going on that night. I'm not gonna lie. My dad was holding my kid, he's about to throw my kid in the air because the Knicks growing babies, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_27Like sacrificing babies and hugging old people.
SPEAKER_04Yo, yo. What we got, bro?
SPEAKER_07Um, let me see.
SPEAKER_04Because we didn't get to any of them, I don't think.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, y'all y'all on a fucking hot street. Got a sports analyst over here. Sweating.
SPEAKER_04You literally brought me around to Leo, nigga. What do you want me to do?
SPEAKER_07Check this out. Um check this out. There's multiple, there's multiple topics. I don't really know which one to get at first. Whatever. The Batman 2 got pushed back uh over a year. That was gonna happen. What do you mean that was gonna happen? They already got pushed back three times. It was supposed to come out 2026. They said no, October 2027. Everybody's like, mm, okay. Right.
SPEAKER_27It's right there.
SPEAKER_07It's right there. Now they're like February 2028. Now everybody's like, aye, bro, you're bugging. But then it was like, here's a little clip of Batman. You're like, it did it for some people, it didn't do it for me.
SPEAKER_04But let's be honest though, like, Beyond the Spider Verse has been pushed back like three years already. But that's animational. It it doesn't matter. Like somebody sick.
SPEAKER_27Somebody important sick. You think so? I mean to pull shit back that long.
SPEAKER_04I mean, it's normal for hire somebody else. Yeah, like it's normal for Hollywood to push back shit, but like they specifically push back like superhero shit because they know that's gonna make them their most money.
SPEAKER_27See, I don't like shit like that. I really don't.
SPEAKER_04Like it's different in the case of like beyond the spot.
SPEAKER_27Like, I get really annoyed and then I'll never remember it, and I'll forget you for the rest of my life.
SPEAKER_07See, I feel like that happens with a lot of people because it's the excitement burns out.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, mine is pretty quick too. You got about 20 minutes with me.
SPEAKER_04I'm be honest, though.
SPEAKER_26Yeah, like get to the fucking point.
SPEAKER_04I'm be honest though, like this week we barely had shit anyway. Like, this has been a slow news week as well.
SPEAKER_07I mean, Alvin and Chipmunks is getting rebooted.
SPEAKER_04Nigga, I'm hyped for that. You're fucking lying, bro. Why are you not? Wait, Alvin. No, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_27I just know these songs are about to slap and be so inspirational.
SPEAKER_04Yo, as much as I would love, I would love Kendrick to be Alvin. However, that was from a shit post, bro.
SPEAKER_27You and Jay sent the same shit to Oh, I was about to say they're gonna like fucking dish Drake in this movie. Wait on it.
SPEAKER_07Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Yo, that was iconic.
SPEAKER_07Oh shit, you might be able to do something with that once this movie comes out.
SPEAKER_04I'm fucking crying. Just don't give out my secrets, nigga. Listen, man. Maybe I had that in the talk already.
SPEAKER_07Listen, bro. Now I want to see if it because I got hyped up. I didn't give a fuck about this shit till they say Kendrick Maher. That's all right.
SPEAKER_04Well, while you look for that, I I have I have a question, and y'all gonna hate me for it.
SPEAKER_26I love this.
SPEAKER_04So when I was at the Ariana Grande concert, right? There was a moment where a certain song played, and all the white people were singing it, and I didn't know how to feel about that.
SPEAKER_05Damn, what song? What song, yeah?
SPEAKER_07It's a white jam though. There's certain hits we got that just like fits to the white body.
SPEAKER_04Is this for the whites?
SPEAKER_07They just grab it sometimes.
SPEAKER_06It just happens.
SPEAKER_07See white women resemble that.
SPEAKER_04Nigga, I'm talking about like the entire arena was like like up in arms about it, my nigga. That shit's hard. So is this a white banger?
SPEAKER_27I think it's kind of a uh it's our banger. And just like we like certain white rock songs or certain white songs, how we get excited to hear like their songs, this might be one of theirs.
SPEAKER_04So I just never thought it would be this one.
SPEAKER_27Me either.
SPEAKER_04It's my shit.
SPEAKER_07It makes sense though.
SPEAKER_27I'd rather this than um, like, you know, rapping little baby.
SPEAKER_07That video was fire. I'm about to say about I know what video is.
SPEAKER_04Alright, alright. Don't hate me, bruh. Don't hate me. But like that video's fire.
SPEAKER_07That video she had a bud light in her hand. That is pure right next to the shit.
SPEAKER_27She did good, she did good. But imagine a whole arena of them. They're not gonna all do great together.
SPEAKER_04Well, no, I wouldn't want a whole arena of them to do it. But if you're gonna give me like 10 bad babies to do it, then 10 bad babies.
SPEAKER_07All right, so speaking of, speaking up, can I get y'all?
SPEAKER_26She didn't say bitches.
SPEAKER_04Wait, what's her name? Bad baby or bad Barbie?
SPEAKER_26Bad baby.
SPEAKER_04Oh, is it bad baby?
SPEAKER_07It's not bad Barbie.
SPEAKER_26Who's Bad Barbie?
SPEAKER_07No, I think it is Bad Baby. Catch me outside.
SPEAKER_26It's uh yeah, it's bad baby. Fuck her. Oh no.
SPEAKER_07Call her a bitch, Sentra. We're waiting for you.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I don't call women bitches. So don't tempt me.
SPEAKER_07No, can I get y'all a live reaction? So, Lil Baby dropped a song and it's produced by Pharrell. I haven't listened to it yet because I swear I just need him to play this shit so I can get a live reaction on that camera right there just to see if it's go ahead.
SPEAKER_04What's the name of the song?
SPEAKER_07Fuck, that's a good question.
SPEAKER_27I feel like anything for us is hands-on is gonna be good though, so.
SPEAKER_07And we're gonna test that out.
SPEAKER_27Like, can he really make a bad beat?
SPEAKER_07Audience. Oh, I'm not even worried about the beat.
SPEAKER_27Wait, is he on it on it?
SPEAKER_07Nah, he produced it pretty much.
SPEAKER_27Oh, okay. Then it's good.
SPEAKER_07It's called Dead Fresh. The beat might be good.
SPEAKER_27I hope I just know what he's saying. That's my thing with Lil Baby. Like, I love his music, but half the time I can't learn the lyrics.
SPEAKER_04Audience, I want y'all to know when I played them saxophones. She looked at me like, nigga, if you don't get the fuck out of this apartment now. Are you?
SPEAKER_27I didn't look at him.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. I didn't look at you. Low-key, yeah.
SPEAKER_27Oh, see, look, I don't know my face.
SPEAKER_04It's the Leo in you. I know. I get it. Don't feel it though. Don't feel it, though.
SPEAKER_15Don't feel it though.
SPEAKER_04You said dead fresh.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Dead fresh? Dead fresh. I hope it makes sense. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_04Do we do we have a four piece?
SPEAKER_09Carta, it fetched, no take cardigan. That's my bad audience.
SPEAKER_27Wait, I'm already feeling it. I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_09Okay, I'm dead fresh, card, it fetched, no take cardigan. Virgin Mary Fowler say I pull up fishes here. When they come in, then I put my nanny and shit in there. If I do get the police, you're gonna hold it down for real. This bee is crazy. This bee came from for real.
SPEAKER_13Yo, this nigga really said you wanna grumble your top cheese.
SPEAKER_04That's exactly what he said, bruh. Cause what? Nah, I mean, let's get to the chorus though. You had to give me a minute, bro. And the only reason why I say that is only because I haven't heard anything good from little baby in like three years. Like, genuinely. So that took me off guard a little bit.
SPEAKER_07I didn't doubt the beat was gonna be as I like when she was supposed to be.
SPEAKER_09I wanna know what that chorus like. I gotta rub, I got shoulders, I got my own.
SPEAKER_07I just bridge okay, okay.
SPEAKER_09First men do it when I'm from like old mama. Don't watch my fair win the Village. I got diamonds on the rock and photo with the ring like nigga. Catch your boy, I got four hundred bags, it's not a shit. Okay, fresh.
SPEAKER_07Shit I wanna pick it up. Yo, I might have to send this to Android a lot of people. We be having a little baby debate.
SPEAKER_09I don't know. This beat came from Pharrell.
SPEAKER_04I think that's the chorus. The beat came from Pharrell.
SPEAKER_07That's a cheat in itself. Cause you gotta tell niggas see, yo, you know that nigga you love? He did this.
SPEAKER_04Yo, but like he didn't have to tell us, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, you I guess he did.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you heard the uh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_07In the beginning he did the four, yeah.
SPEAKER_27Now he had to let these young niggas know, like, y'all know nothing about Pharrell.
SPEAKER_04Who don't know about Pharrell though? The young niggas, yeah.
SPEAKER_27They they about to go YouTube and Google him right now, and then they gonna know something. Oh, the Lego movie.
SPEAKER_04Dumb niggas knew that nigga since fucking happy.
SPEAKER_07Well, they probably now you knew Pharrell did trap.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, they probably know him just from happy and Lego movie, and drop it like it's hot because I feel like that's on plays.
SPEAKER_06I was born doing drop it like it's hot.
SPEAKER_27They have sexy red right now.
SPEAKER_04It's not that they were born dead ass. It's not that they were born to drop it like it's hot to it, but like drop it like it's hot is one of them songs like happy that plays everywhere.
SPEAKER_07Does it? I mean, I always hear it at old functions.
SPEAKER_05These young kids don't know what the fuck that is.
SPEAKER_27Young Tony's Yeah, like they're not hearing this.
SPEAKER_07From from my nephew's perspective, they're teenagers, they probably was like, my mom played this all the time, and probably don't even care that it's produced by Pharrell.
SPEAKER_27And a lot of these kids don't even want to listen to the music that they hear their parents listening to.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah, you're running from that shit. I never I didn't want to do that. You get it after a certain point.
SPEAKER_04Like, I you did have a good music taste, but when it came to my mom, I didn't really want to hear her music all too much. But again, that was Heather Hedley, that was Mary J. That was just only that.
SPEAKER_06I was about to say my mom only that my mom used to love that RB.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like my mom, but my mom played like all of the most heartbroken music, and I was just like, look, like, I want to fight right now. Like, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_27Like, my mom loved Maxwell, and then my dad loved DMX. Oh my god. And then my grandmother liked Nas. So I feel like I got balance.
SPEAKER_04First of all, that's so gross. Because my dad loves DMX. Like, he literally, I think the episode that he was on, he was like, if I don't go a day without listening to DMX, it's a bad day.
SPEAKER_27What is he like 48?
SPEAKER_0450 something, 53.
SPEAKER_07See, it's always the old action has a certain demographic where they're like, I gotta breathe this shit.
SPEAKER_27Nah, DMX is lit though.
SPEAKER_04And then there's my mom that's like, if she ain't listening to anything heartbroken or even pretty wings by Maxwell, it's a bad day. Pretty Wings is fire. Yeah, she was listening to Pretty Wings, but nobody wants that. Nobody wants to say that.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, you think so? I don't know. It's something about the Pretty Wings. Yeah, that's cool. That shit gets me on. Like, this is the final what?
SPEAKER_07They're both great. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Damn. I I bought both of iTunes. I'm I'm gonna sucker, I ain't gonna lie to you.
SPEAKER_27Like, all right, that's cool. That's cool. But I really rock with this song, I'm not gonna lie. That was the first time I think I could learn the lyrics.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, he was speaking.
SPEAKER_27He was speaking words, it was English.
SPEAKER_07He said Obama. I was like, oh.
SPEAKER_27He pronounced every letter and eat every word.
SPEAKER_07You know, for all probably wasn't playing that shit. He said, I was like, I can't hear you.
SPEAKER_27He like run that back. Listen, the most important thing is that we know what the fuck you're talking about.
SPEAKER_04I low key got beef with Little Baby, but then again, I'm gonna give him grace. Only because it's been a few years, maybe he's improving. But ever since I seen him at the One of Them Ones tour, I never want to see him again after that.
SPEAKER_27He mumbled the whole time.
SPEAKER_04He was terrible.
SPEAKER_07And then he has he has a song playing in the background, so it's like, you're not really doing. I'm just watching you on stage. I just paid for Lil' Baby.
SPEAKER_04That was the thing because like walk on stage. I low key wanted to see Little Baby, but I was like, I don't want to pay for a little baby ticket. You know what I'm saying? Like, I was just like, I'd rather go see him with Chris Brown. Because even that tour was he opened, then it went straight to Chris.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_27So yeah, I couldn't do a whole little baby concert. No.
SPEAKER_07Oh no.
SPEAKER_27I you know what's crazy? I could probably do an NBA young boy concert though.
SPEAKER_04But I feel like he just has energy. Yeah. Like he has a lot more energy to put on stage.
SPEAKER_27He has songs that actually slap too. And he has a lot of range with his songs too. Like, you can some of his songs have a lot of hurt in them, some of them have a lot of anger, some of them are happy. Yeah. So like I'm not bored with him.
SPEAKER_04I haven't jumped on the young boy train yet.
SPEAKER_07So um, I gotta tell you, because I told him, bro, I didn't really fuck with NBA Youngboy, like, but we was at a strip club in Nola. Okay. And he was blast smashing off. I was like, I get it. And the little baby songs I were asked to, I get it. I'm like, okay, this is just the environment.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like I mean, that's always the environment. I look at it, I don't know if NBA Youngboy's. Is he from Atlanta?
SPEAKER_07He's from Louisiana. They look at him like the guy over there.
SPEAKER_04The reason I was about to say, because like every Atlanta rapper that I've heard so far, they're great for the strip clubs because what do you do in Atlanta? You party. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_07It's the same basically over there. Cause I was like, yo, who I was like, who's hot over there? She was like, uh, I asked one of the people in the young boy. I was like, Word? I'm like, do y'all fuck with Lil Wayne? She was like, Yeah, but she was like, Lil' Wayne's like how y'all see Jay-Z. Like, you're you were great, but nigga, you're old.
SPEAKER_04It's been it's been that amount of time now.
SPEAKER_15Yeah.
SPEAKER_27I'm gonna go see him live actually. Oh, Wheezy? Yeah, he has a concert coming up, and I bought tickets like months ago.
SPEAKER_04I was supposed to see him weeks ago, and I just I did never bought tickets for it.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I'm excited. Like, I'm excited to sit there. I'm a big Lil Wayne fan. Like, I'm a Kanye, Lil Wayne, like those are my like top two.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I feel like that's more our era too, though. Well, I think Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Definitely.
SPEAKER_27What? Like the way he just his wordplay is insane. You fuck with the Carter Four? I fuck with all the Carters, I'm not gonna lie. I love Wayne, like six?
SPEAKER_04All right, chill, bro, because yeah, six is ass, but like it's only as because of the beat selection, it's not as from what he's rapping. Oh, that's true, that's true. Like, it's it's it's it's a totally different story in that environment, but it's just the wordplay for me.
SPEAKER_27Like, if you could tell a story, or like I don't know. A lot of people listen to the beat and like a song. I listen to lyrics, and that's why I have a hard time with people who don't pronunciate their words right, or they're just saying anything. This takes me to the dreams new album. I did not like his wordplay in any of his RB songs. It didn't make me feel sexy, it didn't make me want to go do anything. Um, it didn't make me want to find love, it didn't make me want to hate y'all niggas. Like, it did, it did nothing for me. It was just there, it was just like, okay, I'm gonna use these same wordplays that have been reused and reused and reused, and I'm gonna put a new beat to it. And I just feel like I don't know.
SPEAKER_07As the dream though, that is that is disappointing.
SPEAKER_27It's very disappointing. I was like, I can't lay somebody down with this shit.
SPEAKER_04But then again, when was the last time that he dropped an album?
SPEAKER_2720 years ago.
SPEAKER_07No, he didn't, bro. Y'all keep saying that he dropped one like his own album? Like, obviously, it wasn't adolescence.
SPEAKER_04Obviously, it wasn't like 20, but it might have been like maybe 12.
SPEAKER_07It definitely wasn't 2020.
SPEAKER_27I don't care what you're talking about. Check the dates.
SPEAKER_07Ah, 2020.
SPEAKER_27Six for oh.
SPEAKER_04All right, let's let's let's be honest though. Nobody heard that fucking album in 2020. I didn't even know he dropped one in 2020.
SPEAKER_07I told I told Don the last one I heard from him was 2013. It was called Foreplay. He had a song Beyonce, Two Chains, uh Kelly Rowland, Pusha T, and Big Sean.
SPEAKER_27Oh, so he recycles his features too.
SPEAKER_04Rich, come on, bro. Come on, bro. You my man's. But like, this nigga came out with six other albums that I knew nothing about. Just three? No, like you didn't hear about the four players. Like the last one I know about was Love King.
SPEAKER_27Damn, we're so 20 years ago. 2010.
SPEAKER_07Damn, this shit came out in 2010.
SPEAKER_04L to the O, B to the E, K to the I, N to the G.
unknownDm.
SPEAKER_07And he don't got nothing like that on there.
SPEAKER_27I only like the first song, one of one. Wait, oh.
SPEAKER_04And only the first song sounds like old dream.
SPEAKER_27Oh, it sounded like old dream, yeah. So that's why I think I liked it. But the rest of it was, I feel like maybe I gotta listen to it again. I only listened to it once, to be fair. But um, it's not what I was expecting, and I think that kills things sometimes when you go into something expecting something. Cause I was expecting like the old dream. Yeah. Like, give me something. Like you write hits.
SPEAKER_04I can't really expect Beyonce's albums.
SPEAKER_27Come on.
SPEAKER_04Yes, but I can't really expect that from from old niggas, really. And the reason why I say that is because, for example, like Neo's kind of in the same boat for me.
SPEAKER_05He should shout the country album. And I liked it.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you heard it? I heard some of it. I liked it. I heard some of it. I'll play the song that I do like, but back problems. But it's the same thing with Neo, where it's like, it's not that he can't make a good album, he has. Phenomenal albums. There are albums that came out later that you're kind of just like, you know what I mean? But he's still an amazing writer.
SPEAKER_27He has three wives now. Like, he's busy. He's busy.
SPEAKER_05That's busy. Oh, what? This motherfucker's dizzy. See, I'm happy.
SPEAKER_04I'm happy that you like the Neo album only because Last Pod I wanted to play some of it, but I knew he was gonna roast the shit. Oh, and everything I love.
SPEAKER_07Once we said that, I was like, yo, he's about to play something from that fucking album.
SPEAKER_27Neo's one of my favorite RB artists. I think he's one of the best RB writers out here.
SPEAKER_04What's your favorite Neo album? Say you're the.
SPEAKER_27I hate when people ask me that shit. I don't know names of albums.
SPEAKER_07So sorry. Name a song from the album. Come on, that's that one. That was an accident.
SPEAKER_04That was an accident. Because I literally went to the country album and it just slipped as I went.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, Apple's like an album where he had like when you're mad. Um you're the gentleman, yo.
SPEAKER_07Gentlemen, yeah. So I feel fell.
SPEAKER_27You know what, Rich, stop touching me. Yeah, that is.
SPEAKER_04Why the fuck are you touching our guests, bro?
SPEAKER_27Oh, hold on, now this is what the Dreams album was supposed to make me feel like. Just start taking shit off.
SPEAKER_04Sweat it out, sweat it out.
SPEAKER_07Yo, you ain't shit. I forgot about that song. Nah, but like Hell no, he on some town road shit with this album.
SPEAKER_04So Year of the Gentleman is probably his best mainstream forever album. I like red.
SPEAKER_07Okay. Red was red was too pop. I fuck with red, but it had them.
SPEAKER_27I think it has some skips on it.
SPEAKER_07Sad skips, because I had that CD.
SPEAKER_04Obviously, because of you, because nobody hates that fucking album. But because of you, uh, summer Libra Scale.
SPEAKER_07Libra Scale was hard.
SPEAKER_04And Red are probably all my favorite.
SPEAKER_07So you're gonna deny Year of the Gentleman?
SPEAKER_04Year of the Gentleman doesn't even need to be mentioned. It's his best fucking album. Yeah, I was like, that's why he's like, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that was his best work. Nope, honey.
SPEAKER_04My personal favorite is just red, but I'm never gonna deny the power of Year of the Gentleman. That shit got closer on it. That shit has Miss Independent on it. That shit has mad. That's that other shit. Why does she stay? Oh, wow. That one.
SPEAKER_07Oh, so you can cry. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
SPEAKER_04I forgot what song that is.
SPEAKER_07I know this whole album front and back, so ah.
SPEAKER_04You're gonna kill me. You're gonna kill me if I don't fucking play that song. Oh, she got her own.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah. She got her own. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_27What's that one? He's like, go oh, please don't worry about it. My dad got his heart broken one year, and like we sang that song down the block.
SPEAKER_07I was just about to say, I was literally about to say, for some reason, my dad was singing that shit.
SPEAKER_27My dad sang the fuck out of that song.
SPEAKER_07Fuck that, and then Heartless by Kondi would come on. I'm like, all right, bro, you're too much in your bag.
SPEAKER_04And then later on, Donnell Jones started popping up, and you're like, alright, my nigga.
SPEAKER_27I've seen a grown man hurt. That's the song they go to.
SPEAKER_04This is my shit, yo. Fuck you.
SPEAKER_26When he played this shit for Jada Kiss and Fat Joe, they sat there like, okay.
SPEAKER_06You know, Damboils pandering. They said we gotta guess what's acting. Let's behave.
SPEAKER_20You gotta look deep into my kids. I don't know. You could just be looking.
SPEAKER_04Don't look at me like that, Poofy. Yo, you don't got no belts, no nothing. Wait for the cords. If the cords is gonna be got it.
SPEAKER_06Dude, that's fake face, yo. Not too much, not too much.
unknownTell me how that sounds just dance right now.
SPEAKER_07You heard that? That's all I know.
SPEAKER_04Yo, you can talk all the shit you want, but I'm gonna go down to motherfucking Nashville with this motherfucker. Maybe not Nashville.
SPEAKER_27Nah, Nashville's the one.
SPEAKER_04Nah, they a little.
SPEAKER_27I draw, I drive through like Boston, Massachusetts with this shit, blasting. Like Rochester, Massachusetts, actually on a long road with greenery and cows and shit, windows down, one hand, knee up. Cruising.
SPEAKER_07This is nasty work, Kelly.
SPEAKER_04Do you what what's up? What's wrong with country?
SPEAKER_27We invented that shit.
SPEAKER_07I know we invented it, but you know, it was just some like if it if it's like The nigga who invented peanut butter, you're not eating peanut butter because you're like, ah, he invented it. You might not like that shit.
SPEAKER_27That's no, just people who are allergic. Everyone loves peanut butter.
SPEAKER_07I don't really like peanut butter.
SPEAKER_04You was cutting out the just a little bit. I'm sorry. You don't like peanut butter either? Oh no, I was saying you was cutting out from the mic.
SPEAKER_27Oh, because I was about to talk shit. I didn't want to be too harsh on niggas who don't like peanut butter. Like, my back was hurting. Chill on me. I had to lean back for it.
SPEAKER_07And then there's also the bowl, too.
SPEAKER_04That so are you the are you like the peanut butter girly or are you the Nutella girly? Oop.
SPEAKER_27I fucking hate Nutella.
SPEAKER_04Thank you.
SPEAKER_27Wow. Like that's some sugary shit right there.
SPEAKER_04It is sugary as fuck. It is.
SPEAKER_27It doesn't even come from a peanut.
SPEAKER_04The thing that bothers me about Nutella is that like it doesn't even have like any hint of peanut butter. Like it's a little bit of hazelnut-ish.
SPEAKER_27Like, if you bought a Hershey chocolate bar and you let it melt in your bag, you'd throw it out. That's what Nutella is. A melted Hershey chocolate bar that you forgot about.
SPEAKER_07That he put in a jar.
SPEAKER_27And people go crazy for that shit, but wouldn't eat the melted chocolate bar. I'm confused.
SPEAKER_07That's valid. Yeah. I mean, yeah. I remember Nutella when they were first getting it off the ground, and they like email, they they mailed people like samples.
SPEAKER_27Well, those are the same people who like uh what is that chocolate Reese Puff cereal?
SPEAKER_07Reese's Puffs? Reese's Puff.
SPEAKER_27Reese's. I don't like that cereal.
SPEAKER_07Chill Glow Rilla just made a song to that shit.
SPEAKER_04That shit is the alright, the song slap. Song slap. So like I wouldn't, I wouldn't really know about Reese's puffs. I actually haven't had Reese Puff's cereal in like a very long time. I would just assumed it tasted like a Reese's cup, though.
SPEAKER_07It's kind of nasty. If you eat too much for you, like I don't know how to throw out.
SPEAKER_27It's just like artificial chocolate flavor.
SPEAKER_07Like, I yeah, I don't with aggressive peanut butter back taste in it.
SPEAKER_27You're like, I've only had it once and I didn't finish the bowl. That shit saw my toilet.
SPEAKER_07I didn't finish the bowl.
SPEAKER_27That shit's still on my toilet, and I went back to refill it with cinnamon toast crunch. That's number one.
SPEAKER_07Not frosted flakes.
SPEAKER_27Frosted flakes is it's always gonna be good.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_27That's like lay's potato chips.
SPEAKER_04Me and you were just looking at it differently than I don't know. I just hate when it gets too soggy.
SPEAKER_27You're not eating fast enough.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you're not.
SPEAKER_27And why are you putting that much fucking milk in your bowl?
SPEAKER_07Wasn't that much? Hold on, hold on. The bowl gotta be the bowl gotta be a pool.
SPEAKER_04No, you gotta at least have some left over for you to drink.
SPEAKER_07No, wait, to drink for the second bowl.
SPEAKER_04All right, I meant the first bowl. I wasn't going to the second bowl.
SPEAKER_07Bro, I gotta eat like four bowls of cereal. Me too.
SPEAKER_27No, four bowls is valid. But now that I'm getting who's eating one bowl of cereal and being satisfied.
SPEAKER_07Now that I'm getting old though, I can't eat that much sugar because my vision started getting fucked up. Once I was on my fourth bowl, I was like, whoa.
SPEAKER_27Three to four bowls valid. And then if you have a big ass bowl, you're winning.
SPEAKER_04See, I'm sensitive already. You already need like almond milk and shit.
SPEAKER_27So well, yeah, I only drink almond milk. I used to do oat milk until I found out it was bad for you. Everything's fucking bad for you.
SPEAKER_04Wait, wait, sugar. Wait, wait, oat milk is bad for you?
SPEAKER_27Oat milk is bad for you, especially if you have like eczema, psoriasis. It's not good for you. The only milk you should be drinking if you have skin issues is almond milk.
SPEAKER_04I'm about to go jump off the fucking building then.
SPEAKER_27But yeah, like dairy in general is bad for you if you have any type of.
SPEAKER_04I didn't know oat milk was bad, honestly.
SPEAKER_27Me either, until someone told me.
SPEAKER_07It's sweet as hell, too. Like it has as much sugar. Like, if you don't have creamer, you can probably use oat milk and it will be a good one.
SPEAKER_27That's why I liked it. Because I was like, oh, this shit is good. Almond milk was too watery for me.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_27I was like, this thing doing it for me.
SPEAKER_07It's not.
SPEAKER_27I like creamy shit.
SPEAKER_07Pause.
SPEAKER_04Why? Yo, get out of my head, bro.
SPEAKER_27I kind of knew it was coming, but it was a delay.
SPEAKER_04It was a delay because, like, that's genuinely, but whatever. I'm be I'm beyond this. I'll fuck with you.
SPEAKER_06So you wanted to let it rock right now.
SPEAKER_27Don't hold back. Don't hold back. If you really fuck with me, don't hold back.
SPEAKER_07My brain was itching. I was like, ah.
SPEAKER_27So I got some shit for you next. Oh no. I gotta watch what the fuck you say. I'm gonna pause you. It's not clocking to you. I'ma pause you. Watch. Be careful what the fuck you say. I ain't gonna say nothing crazy.
SPEAKER_04I'm about to say every gay thing I can say right now. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_07Alright, so speaking of Matt Damon, because I wanted to bring this up before. Pink Pantras is gonna be in a film with Matt Damon. And that's all I got for you, honestly. They didn't say the name, they didn't say what's it about. I'm gonna buy a ticket.
SPEAKER_04So Pink Pantress. So Pink Pantress is gonna be in a movie with Matt Damon. Well, Odysseus or whatever the fuck. Yeah, yeah. Ice Spice is sharing vapes with Spider-Man. Yeah, we up.
SPEAKER_26Wait, she's in the movie?
SPEAKER_04Who?
SPEAKER_26Ice Spice?
SPEAKER_07Nah, she was just they she was making out with Toby McGuire, but apparently they was just sharing a vape and talking at a party.
SPEAKER_26Oh, this girl's everywhere.
SPEAKER_04Yo, you know what's funny? She's doing everything but dropping music.
SPEAKER_27Thank God. You don't like the Ice Spice slaps?
SPEAKER_07I'd rather listen to Ice Spice Last EP than that Neo album.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna be honest with you. Are you kidding me? I'm gonna be honest with you. Ice Spice is more for men, bro. Oh like not fuck you.
SPEAKER_07Now he don't got me one run to it no more.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, she got them play-doh cheeks, y'all like, and then like she says things that you guys can't just say when y'all want to.
SPEAKER_04Like see, I wasn't talking about her. Get your hate off.
SPEAKER_07Nah, nah, hold on.
SPEAKER_04I was just talking about you think you're the shit. This is not even the fault. Like, that's what I was thinking.
SPEAKER_27Play-doh ass.
SPEAKER_07I don't I don't like how when you bring up ice spice, we just talk about our ass.
SPEAKER_27What about ass. Like, it's a nice one.
SPEAKER_07Are you kidding? Hate or love? What's going on now?
SPEAKER_27No, I think she's I just don't like her music, bro. Like, what do you want me to say?
SPEAKER_04Like, but like, genuinely though, you have a point.
SPEAKER_27The only song I like her songs for when I want to be fucking stupid. Like, me and my mom and my siblings were in the car. We just had dinner, my mom's off some fucking beer, and she's dancing in the front, and then that SpongeBob, big guy. Big big guy. That song comes on. We're acting stupid, okay? That shit is hard.
SPEAKER_07That shit is hard.
SPEAKER_27But I'm not putting that shit on if someone says, Oh, what's something that you've been listening to and is gonna like fall into someone's ears 20 years from now.
SPEAKER_07You wanna fuck with Deli?
SPEAKER_27Do you think that's a good song?
SPEAKER_04It's not gonna last the next song.
SPEAKER_27I even forgot the lyrics just now.
SPEAKER_04I was trying to remember it. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_27It's not like I don't think she makes good music. I don't think Nikki should have even featured on anything with her before Cardi, I'm gonna be honest.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah, that was a miss soap. And then they ended up beefing, so it was like, what's the She was been a flop since day one.
SPEAKER_27It was really her looks. Cause let's talk about it. As soon as she lost the weight, no one gave a fuck.
SPEAKER_06Hey, but I was like, Did you lose your ad the audacity?
SPEAKER_27And then when she made the weight back, everyone was like, Oh damn, we back. So, like, it's not the music. She's a pretty girl.
SPEAKER_04So, like, you wasn't fucking with us.
SPEAKER_01He said that I'm good enough. So I tell him it's one of me. He's making fun of me. This girl is a bum to me. Like that boy is a cap. Seeing he's home, but I know where he's at. That's like pink pants. But he's blowing her back. Think about me because he knows that's fat. And it been what it been. Calling his phone, like you'll send me a p.
SPEAKER_07You look like me listening to that Neo song. So I I see that I see what you're coming from now.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I feel like I can rap better than her, and I don't even rap.
SPEAKER_04I mean, no one says she's amazing.
SPEAKER_27Like, I just wish, I don't know. I just wish she would take it serious. Yeah. Like, if you're gonna be labeled a rapper, take it serious. And if not, go pop.
SPEAKER_04I will.
SPEAKER_27Go do techno music, go do Miami Bounce.
SPEAKER_06She would've fuck with that.
SPEAKER_04You know what's funny about what she just said? You know, only black people understand that.
SPEAKER_06What, go pop?
SPEAKER_04Just my bad. I had this conversation with somebody, it pissed me off.
SPEAKER_07And what, you was like, why don't you go pop and they didn't understand?
SPEAKER_04No, they were like, what the fuck does pop have to do with it? And I'm like, Okay. I'm like, all right, well, I guess we're going to a different conversation.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, it's not a try-hard genre. No, you don't have to do too much, and it's mostly the beat, and that's what she is. Mostly the beat.
SPEAKER_04Even her, I didn't mean to snort. Yeah, I didn't mean to snort into the microphone.
SPEAKER_27Shit, the snort is probably a new hit for her. She might steal that shit. Like, that might be the next hit. A snort, a laugh and a snort.
SPEAKER_07With a beat with riot on a beat.
SPEAKER_27We might eat that up.
SPEAKER_07Maybe.
SPEAKER_27Like, haha.
SPEAKER_04Stop playing with me, Riot.
SPEAKER_07Alright, hold on, hold on. Can I see your phone?
SPEAKER_04Oh my bad, please.
SPEAKER_07We're at the two-hour mark and ain't play niggas no music, yo.
SPEAKER_04Like, I ain't gonna lie, I was enjoying the conversation. But here you go.
SPEAKER_07You two, you two enjoying the conversation. Like, they ain't eight albums that dropped, so listen.
SPEAKER_04You fuck with me. We'll be here for five hours, nigga.
SPEAKER_07That's what I'm like.
SPEAKER_27I don't give a shit.
SPEAKER_07Hold on, hold on, hold on. Oh, we did play. Okay, okay, we did get to Lil' Baby. I'll I'll take it back. I'll take it back. You didn't even play that Travis Scott song from the Odyssey. You yo, what side are you on, bruh?
SPEAKER_26Wait, who's Travis Scott again? Travis Scott.
SPEAKER_07That's hate.
SPEAKER_27Who's Travis Scott?
SPEAKER_07Astro, the dude who had all them people die in Astro World.
SPEAKER_27Oh my god, his name is Travis Scott.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Okay. It's just it's just Don Tover is kind of the only name you know after that, right?
SPEAKER_27It's just Travis Scott. Damn. I almost forgot that was his name.
SPEAKER_04It's alright. You don't really need him around all too much.
SPEAKER_27I like him though. I just Damn.
SPEAKER_04I know like every artist is for different genres and different environments of music. I can't get with his all too much.
SPEAKER_27I used to listen to him a lot more than I do now. I don't think I haven't listened, I haven't listened to a song from him in a long time.
SPEAKER_04Back when he did like Birds in a Travel with McKnight and um Rodeo, he was great. Even Astral World is great.
SPEAKER_27I listen to Future a lot more than I do Travis Scott.
SPEAKER_07Did you like his last album?
SPEAKER_27I didn't listen to it yet. Like you said, so much has dropped. When so much drops and everyone's listening to it right now, I'm the type of person who's gonna listen to it when no one's listening to it.
SPEAKER_04Who's your favorite artist?
SPEAKER_27My favorite artist?
SPEAKER_04Like of all time. You said me?
SPEAKER_27Of all time?
SPEAKER_07That's a big that's a big ass.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, like what the hell?
SPEAKER_04Um You're my honorable mention, bro. Chill out. Come on, booby.
SPEAKER_27Okay, if Aaliyah never died.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god. Are you about to say it? Oh, okay. Sorry, sorry. I had a about to go with this.
SPEAKER_27Then it would be Aaliyah. But I am a huge f- Yeah, I'm a huge Beyonce fan at the end of the day. Like, I love Beyonce.
SPEAKER_04That's very valid too.
SPEAKER_27Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I want to see her live, I never got to.
SPEAKER_27I've seen her twice, and she's a great performer. You was Renaissance? I didn't. That's the one I didn't go to. I wouldn't say Renaissance was my favorite album. Um, great album, not my favorite album. You like music like that though.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like that's that's that's your shit.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, it is. And then you'll never find me in the same room as you though.
SPEAKER_07You've been there a couple times. No. Oh, so you went to the cowboy Carter one? Since you like Neil so much.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so I'll say my favorite album if you say it at the same time. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_27I'm not doing that.
SPEAKER_07Niggas gonna be all both say B Day, I'm like.
SPEAKER_04No, that's not my favorite album.
SPEAKER_07This guy.
SPEAKER_27Because I don't have I don't have a f um favorite Beyonce album. I'm more of a singles girl. Singles for her, but I'm biased because I like every single album. Like I said, I have some that are more than the other, but I love every song that she's ever dropped. Even like, I don't know. People say like, oh, she shouldn't rap. I think she does amazing when she does it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, she goes hard.
SPEAKER_04I feel like I feel like she hasn't really sounded bad in anything that she's uh done.
SPEAKER_27Right, like, and then she dropped dunkey dunky dunk finally.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, that shit was hard. I didn't know that exists.
SPEAKER_27It ex I had it on my Instagram for like three years ago when they leaked it. And then I was like, she was like, I'm never gonna drop it because they leaked it. And I cried.
SPEAKER_15And I cried.
SPEAKER_27I was real emotional about it because I wanted to hear the rest. Cause the only thing like they leaked was the part where she was like, I wish I could go back to school and have my locker full of pictures of you. That was so hard to me. Cause I had a locker in high school.
SPEAKER_07Like, yeah, you went to that white high school, yo. I'm jealous.
SPEAKER_27Actually, I went to the rich black high school.
SPEAKER_07Okay, okay, put some sauce on that.
SPEAKER_04Get it right, nigga.
SPEAKER_27Like, come on.
SPEAKER_04Word up.
SPEAKER_27I had Zion Marley in my class.
SPEAKER_04Yup.
SPEAKER_07What you mean, yup? This nigga ain't know that.
SPEAKER_04Nigga, shut the fuck up. You guys know. Oh ass nigga. You see how men don't want anybody to be great?
SPEAKER_27No, I'm not gonna lie. Meeting Lauren Hill was one of the best things that ever happened to me in my entire life. It's it was like close to me giving birth to my first kid.
SPEAKER_04You're not gonna you're not gonna go past that. Like you didn't just say, You met Lauren Hill?
SPEAKER_27And she pinched my cheek.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_27She thought I was horrible. And then she told me to go have fun. I said, no, I just want to sit next to you all night. No, yeah, she's um, she's awesome, very humble, very she's a mother. A lot of people talk all this shit about her and all this. At the end of the day, the person that I met from her, she was just amazing. She was caring, she was just very attentive, and she's there for her kids. And I just really loved her energy. I met Tiana Taylor that night. I met Iman Shepherd that night.
SPEAKER_04Tiana seems like a pure soul, honestly.
SPEAKER_27She was awesome as well. She was very pure. She said hi to everybody. Iman was ready to go. She's like, wait.
SPEAKER_04If I had to gone back to the Beyonce thing, I think Four is my favorite album.
SPEAKER_27Four?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_27Okay.
SPEAKER_04Four is like that primetime Beyonce for me.
SPEAKER_27Alright, sing it.
SPEAKER_04Which one?
SPEAKER_27Anything.
SPEAKER_04What goes all around? Comes back all around. Yeah. My bad. He cocked out.
SPEAKER_07He cocked out. He did. Yeah, you wanna know why?
SPEAKER_04Because I was thinking about it. I'm like, that's on there. Run the world is on there. Party. Party. Yeah, party's on there.
SPEAKER_05Party was good. It's still good. It's still good.
SPEAKER_04With J.
SPEAKER_07Cole and Andre 3000.
SPEAKER_05I love Andre.
SPEAKER_04I'm pretty sure. Is Dance for You on there?
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, that was a great album.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. See, I know a little bit. I'm not like, you know.
SPEAKER_07I see y'all ready for this whole. I cued up a whole bunch of new recent songs, and I just picked the best hearing songs from the albums I was listening to. Don't look at the thing, it's supposed to be a surprise.
SPEAKER_04Then why would you show it? Jeez.
SPEAKER_27I thought he wanted me to look at it. I'm like, well, I'm a little blind.
SPEAKER_07Let's get it. It's mind of my business. Dave's in here from Harry Front.
SPEAKER_24Uh-huh. I bet this man of my business. This minute is to the end, and I'm programming to make a pick up the winner. You tell me my pick up with me. I used to wake up and put in my custom overdose and he just got the holy gold. I just beat me on a map. I just beat me on a penny. I'm a kid. I'm a kid. I just beat me on a penny. I just beat me on a penny. I'm a kidnapping. I'm a kid.
SPEAKER_04I can't be trying to sound different. Oh so you just get the shit off the chip. I can't be mad because like He's doing the same shit but different this time. Because for years we've been asking East to give us fucking something that just doesn't sound like him just talking.
SPEAKER_07I like when he's just talking to the dude.
SPEAKER_27I like when he's just talking. I don't like this beat for him. I'll be honest. This beat was good, but I don't like this beat for him. I feel like it was forcing him to keep up.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I was gonna say it made him skate different, though.
SPEAKER_04That's what I mean. Like it felt a little different because like we never heard him flow like that. Yeah, that was cool.
SPEAKER_27The flow was good. I just like I said, I feel like you could tell it wasn't for him.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. He's probably trying something different.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, don't do that shit again.
SPEAKER_07All right, let me show y'all this. Can't can't let my city down. LBL and uh Joy Battlex.
SPEAKER_26Oh my god, yes.
SPEAKER_11Never play it for the wall, trying to save my toss to be the ball, so I'ma pick my head. My points with the women when it's games. Let me pop my shit. Niggas take away the quiver, nigga, make me pop my bitch. I'm in the shirt with me, but so I look a ribbon. I'm about to slip. I'm feeling in the street, just ain't wanna hear it. If you ain't built for this gang shit, can never come this black head shit. Nigga was just shit. Rappers follow me but never sharing. Ask about this industry, man. This shit the weirdest. I'm but hugging rubber moms and she steady tearing. I'm whispering in the ears, ain't nobody sparing. I'm not gonna hug him, I'll be shipping shit in the back. See, I come from Hemi Down I was getting laughed. From the bottom stuff's in this rain, fella bot.
SPEAKER_12Real niggas black in the ride, just needed time to breathe. Took a box of plots with chips, I hopin' of my sleeves. Two blocks to test that the hit like they was siamese. Niggas trapped in me, I fly the squeeze. Shit is low. Like a sketch artist, I be quick to drill. Call me him a brawl, I pull them strings, back in the full swing. This ain't nothing new, Jack. Bitches been my whole thing. Living out my old dreams, niggas still sleeping on me. Third eye wide, see my enemies creeping on me. We don't take Kylie to threats.
unknownI gotta keep it on me. Keep an arm and the army ready for those tryna harm me.
SPEAKER_12Real G's talk calmly and we move in silence. Where I'm from, we don't vacate, we resort to violence.
unknownWhere every man is the island, ain't no same time. It's every day you're blessed.
SPEAKER_27That little Wayne reference right there. Real G's moving silence like lasagna. Now that shit was hard. I'll be I'll be split.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'll be never misses for me.
SPEAKER_27He never misses for me either. I'm biased.
SPEAKER_07I mean, I'm kind of surprised he did like a J. Cole type B right now. That was kind of different.
SPEAKER_27But he still stayed true to him.
SPEAKER_04This is also like his third project this year. So it's like, gotta switch it up, right?
SPEAKER_27And I think the only thing I would say is one day I hope he puts out a different message. But I know he I know he's like, I still know he's still like very much in the streets with it. So he's like talking about what he goes through on the daily. But I want like these kids look up him to him so much. I want him to stop talking about how living in the trenches is the fucking best because not all of them can rap. So it's not like music is gonna get them out of it the way it got you out of it. So I want him to kind of talk about it like it's in his past now, but it's never you know. Okay, but honesty to these kids sometimes needs to be a little bit fabricated, yeah. Or at least to it needs to evolve. If you're not evolving and you're staying in the same place.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, I mean at least you're being honest.
SPEAKER_27Oh. Wow, that changes everything. Yeah, no, I just I want a different message from him. Like, I get it. We get it. We get it. That's all I gotta say is we fucking get it. I just want you to steer these kids in the right way now. They look up to you, we love you already, we know you have the talent, your wordplay is great. You could literally be on any beat as we can see now.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, that was cool.
SPEAKER_27Um, but it's like even with the love songs that he makes, he says bitches, y'all. He uses the word bitches.
SPEAKER_04Not me, y'all. Not me. She looked at me like, yeah, nigga, say it.
SPEAKER_27Now he says bad babies. But yeah, that was hard. Joey Baddass is always a win for me. His flow has always been a hundred for me. Easy, easily. He's a great rapper.
SPEAKER_07He was like easy on. He was like, let me know when you need me.
SPEAKER_27Like, he's fine as fuck.
SPEAKER_04Like it's always the light skins.
SPEAKER_07What? Joey's Joey darkest.
SPEAKER_04I thought we were still talking about Albi. My fault. That's my bad.
SPEAKER_27No, yeah, no, I'm a dark skin all the way. Albi could be my cousin.
SPEAKER_07All right, let me get y'all to the next one. This is Masago and uh Leon Thomas.
SPEAKER_04Yo, this album is good, bro.
SPEAKER_07You said Masago? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04This album is so good.
SPEAKER_27Don't bop your head if you don't like the Neo song.
SPEAKER_06What? But you got a point.
SPEAKER_27That shit was fucking garbage. Same type of flow.
SPEAKER_06What? Maybe it's the beats different.
SPEAKER_07This shit is hard.
unknownI made a change.
SPEAKER_07I don't like y'all faces, yo, because y'all act like y'all acting like that Neo shit was white on bright.
SPEAKER_04It's not even that, like, it's not even that. I just I was actually thinking, when was the last time you've been like to the South?
SPEAKER_07Family reunion 2022.
SPEAKER_04So go down to the South without your family. Cause I know how bad it sucks to go with your family. We talked about that shit, yeah. Go without your family.
SPEAKER_07You know, I never thought that was an option.
SPEAKER_04Go without your family and do some shit that's not like what your family would do in South, whatever the fuck. You know what I mean? Okay, okay. Go ahead and enjoy life, and then maybe you'll actually like Neil's album a little bit better.
SPEAKER_07Nigga told me to go outside. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Ain't that some shit?
SPEAKER_07Too much of a city boy. Alright, wait, wait, wait. My continuing? Y'all got enough? Nah, go ahead, go ahead. We're done. Oh, oh, like like to the next song?
SPEAKER_27No, no, please.
SPEAKER_07Oh, he was like, tell me MC today.
SPEAKER_14You give me my QBC. C Q V C Why don't you say? Why don't you make me put a mistake?
SPEAKER_04Also, like, I only really listen to this and Steve Lacey's album.
SPEAKER_11She made a pack with me, we win.
SPEAKER_07Alright, I'm not gonna lie to you.
SPEAKER_11Make up me.
SPEAKER_04Masago's never been bad either. That's another one I don't really miss. He's talented. But like, it was only him and Steve Lacey that I really heard this week. I heard a little bit of Tori.
SPEAKER_07He dropped something? Yes, he did. Let's get straight to it. Crody from the Nye.
SPEAKER_04He got mad hype over that shit too.
SPEAKER_07Cause I fuck with Tori, but this is kind of this has kind of been a lot. He dropped a double album where RB, RB side, and the rap side.
SPEAKER_27He is living the life in prison.
SPEAKER_04Yo, I was about to say, cuz I was like, who? What mic is he using in general, bro? This is not no gel phone, nigga.
SPEAKER_27He's in like a college dorm.
SPEAKER_04Yo, flipping the shit. After this, play Jalen Brunson. Yeah, because like his vocals sound too crisp, right?
SPEAKER_25Oh, Cody, oh shit, sticky. Fairly apple juice, shisty and a blicky. I'm mad the robot with a bucket named Vicky. Last night she gave a crap pipe of hickey. I'm a guy in my city, I'm a guy now. Purge your regiment went feddy.
SPEAKER_07He's a I got another comment too after this.
SPEAKER_25Never let them beat me up.
SPEAKER_07In a train Jalen Brooklyn.
SPEAKER_04She hit that phone state.
SPEAKER_13Quick hold on, he rapping with toys.
unknownTake a thing on the cara for the turkey.
SPEAKER_07Here, spell it for me, yo. Central's rapping, fuck about the alphabet at that point.
SPEAKER_13Yeah, sorry for my cracked ass phone.
SPEAKER_27Oh, can I not spell it either?
SPEAKER_04Sorry, the song was laying for a little too long. Yeah, yeah, no, thank you.
SPEAKER_06I swear I was the.
SPEAKER_27It's the third one.
SPEAKER_07Oh, you don't listen to this album. We both were smelling this name long, I guess it.
SPEAKER_27No, I spelled it right.
SPEAKER_04Yo, Rich, swear I don't listen to music.
SPEAKER_14I'm doing touchdown passes to the club for you bitches to play this.
unknownWe already make it.
SPEAKER_04Mm-hmm. Like, why do you sound that clear?
SPEAKER_07I'm telling you, bro, he got that good jail phone.
SPEAKER_04Dwayne didn't even sound this good when he was in jail. He recorded a lot of shit poor.
SPEAKER_14I was just doing this.
SPEAKER_07You think it's the left baby? Ready?
SPEAKER_02I got too much money, I skipped the luxury rap.
SPEAKER_06Let's go.
SPEAKER_02Rick Ross jumped that new album set in stone.
SPEAKER_27Shout out to the drug rapist. Excuse me?
SPEAKER_04No, she's not a I was letting her up. I was into a molly. Cause Molly was in a champagne.
SPEAKER_05On purpose.
SPEAKER_02I can see the city lights top down, right? I can tell she's a model looking at her dies. Another round of bottles, and it's strictly for the guys. But a ride home, I can marry Jay Blash. Try to get some money. I got several different ways, uh. In God's name, look the devil in his face, uh. All protein, I'm just looking at a waste. She love double law by the look that's on her face. Double R Maybe the Lord.
SPEAKER_21I'm trying to find out.
SPEAKER_07That's all I'm winning to get to you know me.
SPEAKER_21You know I'm so fine. Whatever for the vibe. I threw the line out of fishy.
SPEAKER_02So now I skip the awards. It's Italy for the week. Just back to back. So Capri know when it's me, these niggas.
SPEAKER_27Don could have went a little harder.
SPEAKER_04Is it fair to say that Ross is only good now with features?
SPEAKER_27He's always been only good with features.
SPEAKER_04Because the only one without a feature that he's really that was good and popping was BMF.
SPEAKER_07BMF had a feature though.
SPEAKER_04Did it?
SPEAKER_07Styles P.
SPEAKER_04Well, answers my fucking question.
SPEAKER_07Don could have went hard. He gave him a light pack. He said, I'm gonna just it sound like he recorded that sitting back. It was like, okay, that's clear, you can hear me? I sent it to him.
SPEAKER_27I'm a Rick Ross hater.
SPEAKER_07Damn. I can tell with the comment. Why you hate Rick Ross so much?
SPEAKER_27Because I listened to the lyrics when I got a little older. And I'm like, damn, he admitted to this shit.
SPEAKER_07Oh, do you ain't even know?
SPEAKER_27Yeah. Do you know I used that song for my school project?
SPEAKER_07Oh.
SPEAKER_27And I did a whole music video with it. I had TV production. And I edited a music video for it. And my teacher let it rock. I guess no one heard what the fuck he was saying.
SPEAKER_07It didn't.
SPEAKER_27He didn't even know it.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. It was just the rhyme scheme of it that made people like, oh, I see what he did there. That shit was hard. Unfortunately, that shit was hard. But he said a lot. He said a lot. That I would have never said.
SPEAKER_27And I don't know. And he lost endorsement. They use lyrics in court now.
SPEAKER_04So I told you, I'm learning her rock. Because genuinely speaking, I don't really fuck with Ross like that either. So it's like.
SPEAKER_27He does sound like he lost weight, though.
SPEAKER_04Does he sound like he lost weight?
SPEAKER_27Yeah, his voice is a lot clearer.
SPEAKER_04Now, do you think he's lost weight or is he just speaking more from his diaphragm?
SPEAKER_27He just sounds vegan.
SPEAKER_04Or is he just on Ozympic?
SPEAKER_27No, he sounds vegan. Like he eats salad before he records.
SPEAKER_07Man, that nigga definitely got he got the big forehead too. He got the Olympic fat.
SPEAKER_27Nah, he's already dating these models because he's looking at the thighs and shit. Oh my god. So I don't know. He lost weight for a reason. You know, some old niggas like to age backwards.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, and it looked weird too. It's like, bro, he was already going here.
SPEAKER_27Like Jay-Z with the haircut, he's looking younger than ever.
SPEAKER_07That was some bullshit.
SPEAKER_27Well, I loved it. Get rid of them fucking wicks.
SPEAKER_04I didn't mind the fro, but the dreads, the dreads look kinda crazy.
SPEAKER_07The dreads look kind of crazy, but you're a billionaire, bro. I'm gonna let this hair do whatever the fuck you want to do.
SPEAKER_27The fro had to go, the wicks had to go, bring back the clean cut. Like you're a father of three.
SPEAKER_07Yo, I hate that when it's like, yo, you're a father. Like, damn, bro.
SPEAKER_27Like Yeah, same thing they say about women. You're a mom now. Like you're all cra catching strays. We're not leaving it just to one freaking group of people. We're all gonna catch strays.
SPEAKER_07Alright, you ready for you ready for this next one? And there's like two more after. Donnie might fuck with this. Oh, it wasn't playing. Okay, my bad.
SPEAKER_27Go crazy.
SPEAKER_04I immediately tell me about Crash O? I was gonna play Crash O.
SPEAKER_07I was hoping you knew this is my wife. So what do you think?
SPEAKER_04My wife is at it again. Oh my god. Brand new album Pop Star September, you hurt?
SPEAKER_06Damn, you know about the album? I ain't no fucking album's coming.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because you don't listen to music, nigga.
SPEAKER_06Let's go! Got him.
SPEAKER_17What you want for me? Uh seven pack.
SPEAKER_07Tonight she's trying to get another one after two on.
SPEAKER_04It's time for a salt and change. This is like her third era now.
SPEAKER_17Of this. Oh, explain a minute.
SPEAKER_04Put us on this for you.
SPEAKER_07I see Madden Neo ain't giving me this giddy.
SPEAKER_27Wait, that was Tanache? Yeah. I would have never known that.
SPEAKER_07Well, you thought it was Chloe Bailey?
SPEAKER_27I didn't know who the fuck that was. This sounded like a 23-year-old white girl who goes to Starbucks and has a paint drink. I have no idea who that was.
SPEAKER_04But the reason why the reason why I say this is like her third era is because like she started off on Sony. Sony was pushing her label her album back a little too much. She didn't fuck with that. She dropped Joy Ride, she dropped off the label, then went independent, and she came out with like three or four projects independent. So now this is either her fourth or fifth one, independent. And this is just that time for her sound to change.
SPEAKER_27I like the sound for her though. It was good.
SPEAKER_04She was kind of building up to it for a while.
SPEAKER_27So like she made me want to know a dance routine. She gave me like, you know how them K-pop groups can make me want to dance?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_27That's what it gave.
SPEAKER_04It does feel like sometimes that she's kind of aiming for the TikTok world.
SPEAKER_07She's on the Atlantic Records.
SPEAKER_27Who isn't nowadays though?
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_27But people in Atlantic now? They force you to make TikTok music.
SPEAKER_07And that's what and that's what it hate, because now it just doesn't look like you naturally wanted this to get caught onto TikTok. It's like you're kind of force feeding.
SPEAKER_27What happened to building artists based off talent? You know, nowadays you don't get signed until you're already known. Yeah, like you have to have the budget on your own to make a good music video. You need to know how to make your own songs sound like they're already freaking backed up. And then they're like, oh, we're gonna sign you. Remember when they used to sign people who like literally look like they just picked them up off the street?
SPEAKER_04So there's no more. And then they could sing, you're like, oh shit. There's no more like artist development. Not only that, but there's no more label. Like there is a label, but artists are so focused on just being independent.
SPEAKER_07Because every everything you just said, like if I'm putting together the video and it's due time and this, what the fuck do I need y'all for?
SPEAKER_04Which is true, but at the same time, you also need the uh the promotion, you need a publication, the distribution, yeah. That too. And a lot of artists really don't know how to either give their story or create one. Because at the end of the day, most of the artists that we love, their story is probably not their story.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah, that should definitely fabricate it.
SPEAKER_04You know what I mean? But at the end of the day, that's what gives people hope. That's what people want to run to.
SPEAKER_27I think that's why a lot of people love Cardi. Whether they respect her music or not.
SPEAKER_07Her story. Blunt, I love her.
SPEAKER_27Like she, she's not gonna lie to you. Yeah, like she's gonna tell you if she stole that from Walmart.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. But like and then give you a vow reason. You go like, bitch, I had six dollars in my account. Like, there's no way I was buying that shit.
SPEAKER_27I'll come back Tuesday morning and give them the rest. Like, she's real. Like, I but I do miss artist development a lot. Like, I get it, but I don't get it.
SPEAKER_04Like, I hate became a cat. Not that I hate, like I I love that people are going on their own and showing the progression, at least. Like they're like, oh yeah, this video looks shitty, but a few years this video is gonna be great, and it is. You know what I mean? Or this song may be shitty now, but tell me, wait, I'm gonna be great later. Which sometimes it is, sometimes it's not. But that's also kind of the gamble, the the gamble that you take in music.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Because music is so subjective that it's like it's either you like it or you fucking don't. And if they don't like you, it is what it is. Yeah, it's either you're gonna stop or you're gonna keep going.
SPEAKER_07So I've seen recently that there's a new development system for labels, because they now know that, you know. Like we were saying before, they grab some eye off the street, and now this person gradually becomes a superstar before our very own eyes. Yeah, labels came to the conclusion they can't build superstars no more.
SPEAKER_27They yeah, they don't know how to do it.
SPEAKER_07So, what we're gonna do is we're gonna market you enough to where you can get a core audience and you can get a handful of niche people that fucking love you, and we're gonna try to just market all that. So we're not gonna try to get everybody in the world to listen to you, but we go get a hundred thousand people to fuck with you the long way, and we'll just see where we can go from there.
SPEAKER_27And the only part I don't like about that though is that then they get stuck and only producing what that group of people like. And then as soon as they want to switch it up and go for a larger crowd, that label would probably say hell no. Because they're scared in the first place to have them even be promoted to everyone if they're looking for just a group of people. Now that artist is stuck and miserable and on drugs and dies at 25.
SPEAKER_04The one thing I will say I feel as though I feel as though labels don't understand what people want to hear right now. And I think that's the biggest issue that a label would have because like you can come out with a Sabrina Carpenter, for example, and have her make the music that she is now. If she goes ahead and tries to go into, I don't fucking know, jazz, rock, whatever the fuck she wants to do. Just for example. There's people that are gonna fuck with her, sure, but her core fans are gonna be the ones that probably stick around the longest. Now I'm trying to get my brain together with this one because this one is wild, but even when it comes to the case of like pop punk, for example, that's a sound that people wanted back in 2020. So when certain artists went from making one genre to another, that's what they gravitated towards.
SPEAKER_27I don't know. I I feel like do we know what we want until it's presented in a certain way? I was about to say, I feel like people don't know what they want.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like some people are looking not some people, most people are looking for nostalgia most of the time.
SPEAKER_27Like I don't think we knew that we would like trap as much as we liked it. It kind of just was something that was given to us and we're like, oh shit.
SPEAKER_04I feel like there was remnants of that leading up to it though.
SPEAKER_27But it was never it was just given to us.
SPEAKER_07I also feel like we just gravitate towards good sounding fucking music.
SPEAKER_27And I was gonna say, if the talent is there, like look at Adele. Adele doesn't make music for everybody. Yeah, but she makes great music. That's a voice that people are all gonna shut up and be like, oh, who's singing right now?
SPEAKER_15Yeah.
SPEAKER_27You know, like I always say that I go to like pop-up shops or like shows that have performance who are underground, and it can go from really hyped club songs to rapping, and then you have that one RB artist who comes on stage, and she's about to change the whole entire vibe of the crowd. But if her voice is good, we're going to be accustomed to that. We all just we're dancing in hype, and we're all like probably drinking, and then boom, this sad song comes on, but the talent is in the room with us. It really just makes you want to just sit there and listen. And I feel like if you have that talent where you could just get people to just listen, and it's not what they're used to, it's not what they probably play every day. That meant is an artist to me.
SPEAKER_04No need to no, didn't mean to cut you off, but can you check that real quick? Because I don't see a red light.
SPEAKER_07Oh no, yeah.
SPEAKER_04My fault, guys. Continue though.
SPEAKER_27But yeah, I mean, I was just ending it on that part, really. It's just like I think talent beats all, but then also hard work as well.
SPEAKER_04Are there red numbers up top?
unknownNo, it's white.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that shit wasn't recording though. Hold on, audience.
SPEAKER_07I know what you're seeing, I know what you're saying. I I don't see that either. Wow. It was recording when we started. It definitely was recording.
SPEAKER_27Um, you know, talent and hard work is always gonna be wait the whole time No, so it started recording.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, why is it blinking?
SPEAKER_27You know what song's been in my head a little a lot? What's that song that um I just dropped it?
SPEAKER_07It's like an Instagram song, but it was like, um, um can can you go can you search it up? You think it's on Apple?
SPEAKER_27It is on Apple.
SPEAKER_05I don't know the name of it.
SPEAKER_04I'm unk status now, so I'm unk status is crazy. But yeah, our bad audience. Our recording stopped. Not this one though. Audio listeners get the best.
SPEAKER_07Nah, I mean that's tough though, man. It's it's either one or the other. Hey man. We gotta like.
SPEAKER_27I hate not remembering names of songs.
SPEAKER_07It'd be like that.
SPEAKER_04Is your memory just bad or is it only bad with songs?
SPEAKER_27You mind your business. Oh, Gotty. Like, I don't know how to answer that. Wait, talk while I look for this shit, or you're gonna make me nervous.
SPEAKER_04This nigga's watching Wolverine Origins right now.
SPEAKER_07He's an Origins Wolverine, actually.
SPEAKER_04Alright, alright. Same shit, different toilet. You think it's a shitty movie?
SPEAKER_27I got 10 bathrooms, I can shit all day.
SPEAKER_04This movie needs a bidet, you hurt. This movie needs a bidet. Yeah. Yo, you're gonna yo.
SPEAKER_06Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_07So while she's looking for it, I feel like wait, unlock your phone. See it be like that.
SPEAKER_04I feel like there's certain 2000s movies that sorry, my front camera is all fucked up because my phone's cracked, so I didn't think it was gonna get in my face.
SPEAKER_07I feel like this 2000 movies where it's not that shitty. Because now we have shittier movies.
SPEAKER_04This movie's pretty shitty, bro.
SPEAKER_07You know what? My mom took me to see this movie, so that's why I find the stole just hit me.
SPEAKER_04See, no one took me to see this movie. I got this shit from Poppy at the corner store.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah, yeah. You got a good you got a good copy? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yep. CGI. CGI wasn't finished, but Oh, you got that?
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Nigga Jordan told me about that shit a while ago. I'm like, bro, what are you talking about? He was like, yeah, I got a version where the CGI wasn't finished, and I'm like, what?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, like we went to um I went to go get a haircut, and my man came into the barbershop. I was selling it. So I bought it.
SPEAKER_07I missed that.
SPEAKER_04Not gonna lie, the CGI wasn't finished. You saw the helicopter come in gray as hell.
SPEAKER_07He said the same exact thing. I'm like, bro, what are you talking about? He's like, there's an unfinished version of X-Men Origins Wolverine.
SPEAKER_04Is Jordan a DCom kid?
SPEAKER_07He might be. He looked like a D-Com kid.
SPEAKER_04That's why. We got all the information.
SPEAKER_07Oh my god. A D-Com kit is a Disney Channel original movie. I so You're not a D-Com kid. You're not a D-Com kid. That's all. I'm not either. Don't get it fucked up.
SPEAKER_27Wait, I just didn't know what to say. Yeah, I mean, you looked me dead in my eyes and gave me a definite Oh, a banger.
SPEAKER_15Oh my god.
unknownGo crazy.
SPEAKER_27Go crazy.
SPEAKER_15Do you love me?
SPEAKER_19Do you want me? Go crazy. Slick.
SPEAKER_13Slick. Slick. Who the fuck is this?
unknownSlick.
SPEAKER_22I think it's pronounced Victony.
SPEAKER_04Victor.
SPEAKER_22You gotta play this at the pre-mack at this.
SPEAKER_04I like the bottom.
SPEAKER_22Slick. Slick.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, now I'm into it. Now I'm into it. After the second slick, I'm like, okay, I get it.
SPEAKER_22Sleep.
SPEAKER_27Slick.
SPEAKER_07See, and then there's certain songs where people It's a dancing song.
SPEAKER_27It's not meant for anything else other than for you to move your body.
SPEAKER_07But I like songs where it's like, yo, he just is talented.
SPEAKER_27Yes, this could be played at a wedding, a birthday party, a function, in your house when shit is getting weird. Like, imagine arguing with somebody and then playing this. Like the argument is over.
SPEAKER_07Play this during sexy time. You're like, oh yeah. No, don't play this.
SPEAKER_27I'm not, we're not doing nothing no more. I'm gonna start dancing.
SPEAKER_04Playing dance? I'm about to say, you're playing dance music during sexy time, bro?
SPEAKER_27This is definitely a concert now.
SPEAKER_04Like, that's your vibe? I mean I don't like no soul being up but in Chanel.
SPEAKER_07Oh, that's my shit. Yo, you know what's funny?
SPEAKER_26Do people actually listen to songs while they do sexy time? Like, is do people hear?
SPEAKER_07I don't hear shit. I know there's a certain I think.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_07No, I'm lying, I'm lying, I'm lying. There was some song on Loop once. It was uh it was Anisia. I forgot the name. I might be like Centra. I forgot the fucking name of it, but I might be like Centra. Like only I was like, what's the name of it?
SPEAKER_27But the name of this episode is niggas ain't shit.
SPEAKER_04I mean I'm not gonna say what I was really gonna put the episode out at first.
SPEAKER_07Well, what you had him on?
SPEAKER_04Remote guy. What did you had him on? Nah, I don't think I'm not gonna do it.
SPEAKER_06You're gonna have remote guy feature on the central. You're gonna be like, this girl kicked my back.
SPEAKER_04Don't worry, I'll find out by the night because it won't be up by the night.
SPEAKER_26He's gonna be like, I was asking everyone in the room.
SPEAKER_04Uh we gotta do the artist showcase, bro.
SPEAKER_07Wait, who you got today?
SPEAKER_04Well, today, I got a girl named Red Riley. Oh, I thought this shit was gonna play. Yo, I'm out of it today, but I'm here. Okay.
SPEAKER_19But I see the show free to come a little closer. It's getting a beautiful breeze. This is on your mind by Rhett Riley. Uh no. Come stay with Sony. Come dance with me the dance. You you get me now.
SPEAKER_04I don't know what part of Jersey she's from, but if he's from Jersey, she's from Jersey, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Bring out other people from Jersey. Other than the club, let's get some house music too. I think a house music club. From Jersey.
SPEAKER_27My friends, of the house music club.
SPEAKER_07You wanna play it?
SPEAKER_27Um I guess what people can buy this.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I'm gonna just I'm gonna just send it to myself real quick. Oh no, I actually pressed it. You know when that should happen. It's I mean, but see if I'm often watching this all why the fuck did they take devil's not?
SPEAKER_04You feel really fucking with this shit? You can't find it?
SPEAKER_05That's cool. I just wanna be able to figure out. I couldn't find it.
SPEAKER_27I'm sorry. I also gave up quickly.
SPEAKER_04That was on my mom by Ray Riley.
SPEAKER_07I really I don't even have nobody this week, honestly. Really? Yeah, just me? Shocked, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Damn, Ray Riley, you're the only one that got it. Let's go. This is about to go into what other other songs she had, but yeah.
SPEAKER_07You'll find me. I like your style. I like your style.
SPEAKER_04But speaking back going back to oh my bad.
SPEAKER_27No, go ahead, go ahead.
SPEAKER_04Going back to what you was about to say about this thing. Yeah, I don't know why they cut why they shut his mouth closed.
SPEAKER_27Y'all, they talking about the damn movie on the TV that you can't see.
SPEAKER_15I'm so sorry.
SPEAKER_04He mentioned it like loud and clear on the pods. I was like, ah, well, I guess that's what we're doing.
SPEAKER_27It's just nerd hate. I wouldn't be a good sister if I didn't shout out BKS or her new song Photographs. Yes.
SPEAKER_07Oh, we played that form.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, like two pods ago.
SPEAKER_27Oh shit.
SPEAKER_06I mean, you can run it back. I want it back. I don't care.
SPEAKER_27But I didn't shout her out, you know? So I have to shout my sister out, okay?
SPEAKER_07She got anything else in the tuck? You you listen, you be in the stew sessions.
SPEAKER_27She has a whole lineup of songs. It's just about uh finding the right beat. Uh, because you know, at this point we want to make beats from scratch. Well, I should say she wants to make beats from scratch, but my girl wants to make sure that old RB is still alive. Um, she takes her inspiration from like Mary J. Blige and all of that. So, but when it comes to like lyrics and the songs, they're there.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah, they've been there.
SPEAKER_27They've been there for years. Now it's just about executing it and finding the right producer and just making it sound kind of like how Red Riley, like, I wonder who produced her songs. Those sounded really like good.
SPEAKER_04I'm very yeah, like it sounded like high production all.
SPEAKER_27It sounded like very high production, and it's very hard to find that nowadays, especially because a lot of producers are so used to producing one genre, yeah, yeah, or they're used to working with the same people, same voice, so they don't know that all artists need something different.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, just making this one pocket, and you're like, I think you perfected that pocket.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, so you get stuck with this one sound and it's not yours.
SPEAKER_04It was funny enough because even her, like, I accidentally ran into. Apparently, like we already followed her on like the culture page. We just didn't know. What the f and she randomly popped up with a new single, but I was like, let me just go back. And that was one of the old ones I gravitated towards.
SPEAKER_07Well, Red Riley, I will be following you.
SPEAKER_27And I'm not, I'm not like a techno, um, but I don't know.
SPEAKER_07That was house tech. That wasn't more so technically.
SPEAKER_27And that's why I think I'm okay with it. I'm just such a hip-hop RB girly.
SPEAKER_07I get it.
SPEAKER_27Like, you know who would have bodied rapping on that though? Who? Low key? Joey Badass. I don't know why. I don't know why I didn't hear him on that shit. I feel like he would have bodied a verse on that. I don't know why, put a little hip-hop beat in the back of it for just his verse and then bring it back to the house. I don't know. But like I said, I'm biased when it comes to that.
SPEAKER_07So, just a little movie update. I uh I went to go follow her, and the synopsis for Avengers Doomsday popped up. I don't know if you want to hear it. Sound jiggy.
SPEAKER_04Wait, like an official Yeah, the official synopsis. Like IMDB official type shit.
SPEAKER_07Or like I don't know, nigga.
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_07So it's not official. No, it's from comic like it's from comics.
SPEAKER_27Like, oh, they have they have that blue verified check.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, exactly. Sorry. It's just sound hard. Listen, yo, get your head open. Universes collide and the multiverse saga begins its final chapter. Beloved heroes from three distant universes will settle on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an external and an existential threat unlike anything they've ever encountered. This epic film will lay the foundation for the future of the Marvel cinematic universe.
SPEAKER_04So, you mean to tell me that this movie is gonna have the same exact plot as Days of Futures Past?
SPEAKER_07Whoa, that's not the same plot. This is three different universes now. Hold on.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, instead of past, present, future, it's three different universes, but it's the same thing.
SPEAKER_27Sorry, sorry, I was like they know how to sell shit.
SPEAKER_07That just sounded epic.
SPEAKER_27Like, I need to create a character tomorrow and sell it to y'all.
SPEAKER_04But what powers would you give them?
SPEAKER_27Which what do you wanna know? What do you like?
SPEAKER_07Nah, it gotta be something that niggas didn't even know they liked. Exactly.
SPEAKER_27Like the girl who puts it to heads, like you know that was crazy. I I gotta come up with something.
SPEAKER_07She said, like the girl put her fingers through people's heads. Pause.
SPEAKER_05Fuck.
SPEAKER_07Got him.
SPEAKER_05Damn.
SPEAKER_04Almost three hours in. You ain't get us yet.
SPEAKER_27Because y'all not saying gay shit. Like, what's going on? Oh no.
SPEAKER_07That was stupid.
SPEAKER_04Yo, I'm just watching you so immersed into this movie, bro.
SPEAKER_06Because it's stupid.
SPEAKER_27Because he said I was just watching you. I'm I'm going there.
SPEAKER_07That's what we're doing. Got him. Got him.
SPEAKER_27I don't care.
SPEAKER_07Right before the three-hour.
SPEAKER_27Because why are you watching him?
SPEAKER_07Word, right? Watch me watching other niggas. It's crazy.
SPEAKER_27You know what? And I'm gonna take it back too. He asked if he was okay like 30 times during this shit.
SPEAKER_04I did, because you was you stressing me out. You were stressing me out. I ain't gonna lie. Yeah, don't ask me if I'm okay again.
SPEAKER_26Concern Pookie. Nah, I was leaving here with something.
SPEAKER_04She said, call him Pookie again.
SPEAKER_27Pookie. Rich, the way you are into this movie right now is actually concerning.
SPEAKER_07Yo, this is my childhood right here.
SPEAKER_04Nigga, this movie's ass.
SPEAKER_07Okay, but as a kid, you don't know what's ass.
SPEAKER_27Like, she's gonna be a little bit more.
SPEAKER_04Alright, well, everyone listening know that we're three hours in and you still watching this movie. So what's up, man?
SPEAKER_07I didn't start watching this movie. I just looked at it once the Deadpool shit came in. What's the whatever the fuck that fake Deadpool? They put Deadpool in here, but they glued his mouth shut.
SPEAKER_04Pookie, we can't be selfish. You can't be defensive, bro.
SPEAKER_26That's because he's always talking shit.
SPEAKER_07So make the man do his job. No, this is when the movie just gets pure ass. It's been ass for like the past 10 minutes.
SPEAKER_04It's been ass for the last hour and like hour and 40 minutes, bro.
SPEAKER_27What are you talking about? Would you ever be in a movie? Or are you just someone who watches it?
SPEAKER_04I would love to be in a movie.
SPEAKER_27Me too.
SPEAKER_07My my grandfather used to do uh cameos in movies, like as a background person, like say like I am legend, or like silent library, like I don't know if you're ever seen it. Yeah, it'll be like the old person like in the back that'd be like what these people doing. So that's hilarious. I would definitely try to do it just to be like, I did it.
SPEAKER_27You'd be good. You'd be funny, you'd be good too.
SPEAKER_04I actually like writing and directing. So he's behind it.
SPEAKER_07Send you, you can be a main character though.
SPEAKER_27I would love to be in a movie. I'm going to be in a movie. I don't care. It's on my bucket list before I die. But it has to be a comedy movie, or it has to be a scene where like I have to cry on spot because I could do it. Oh, you're a couple of things.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so like now you're under pressure. Cry on the spot.
SPEAKER_27You gotta give me a second.
SPEAKER_04Alright, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. Either that or you want to act out a scene first.
SPEAKER_27I'm already in my crying.
SPEAKER_04Cool, okay. I'll let you go.
SPEAKER_27Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_07Your eyes tearing up. Alright, as she cries this way. As she cries.
SPEAKER_04No, come on, man.
SPEAKER_07I don't like the method because I feel like the only way you can do that, you can be like, my grandma died right now.
SPEAKER_27I swear to God, I'm thinking how my dad abandoned me.
SPEAKER_05It's the only way. See what I say, you gotta hit the drama button.
SPEAKER_26Like you have to start thinking about all the sad shit that happened to you.
SPEAKER_15Like daddy won't.
SPEAKER_07Yo, yo, you put the Windex thingy. That shit had me fucking screaming for like a week.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, you're a Wendex girl. You're a Windex girl. Oh yeah, quiet that nigga. I'm already crying, nigga.
SPEAKER_07I'll do a commercial too. When they're selling some dumb shit.
SPEAKER_27Like, depending on how much you pay me, I'd even do the HIV commercial.
SPEAKER_07Or you know, do the cancer commercial. No, what?
SPEAKER_27Fucking. Liars. I know three people who should audition. A night.
SPEAKER_06Yo, chill about to pitch my pants.
SPEAKER_05That was crazy. That was a classic. That's a classic. An original.
SPEAKER_04Oh shit. Are you okay? Jinx.
SPEAKER_06Word. Pause, pause.
SPEAKER_04You pause and jinxing?
SPEAKER_06She paused in a U okay.
SPEAKER_27I was like almost there at the tears, but then we started talking about Windex bottles and like. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_04I'm not gonna lie to you.
SPEAKER_27Whoa, whoa, whoa.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I heard I heard the sniffle and I was like, wait, I can't look at the kids.
SPEAKER_07I can't. When people get when people start hitting that emotional factor, I'm like, whoa, I gotta look the fuck away.
SPEAKER_27Nah, yeah. I I wanted to act. I definitely I would do it.
SPEAKER_07Well, you better act like you care about these niggas having cancer.
SPEAKER_27I did.
SPEAKER_04Alright, so like give me a line you would have said to Jody.
SPEAKER_26Jody's bitch ass?
SPEAKER_04Well, exactly. I need her to get her shit off. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_15You lied.
SPEAKER_04Some believe it or not, sometimes it's easier to act because you're acting angry before you can act as like other emotions.
SPEAKER_07I get it. It's like it's like an icebreaker.
SPEAKER_27No, I think I'm more like. I don't got shit to say to Jody. It was already said. You feel me? I don't think I have anything new to say to Jody. Give me something I'll do.
SPEAKER_07Since you would have put that nigga in the headlock. You see what you're saying.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, like I don't have too much talking to do to Jody. Like I'm pushing you down the stairs and fucking your friend. Damn.
SPEAKER_04I'm trying to give her not shit niggas. Alright, my man's from one of them days.
SPEAKER_27I don't know nothing about that one.
SPEAKER_07See, I knew she didn't see that. Damn.
SPEAKER_27I don't watch movies.
SPEAKER_07Scissor and Kiki Palm. It's really funny.
SPEAKER_27Oh, wait, was Scissor?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_27It was called what?
SPEAKER_04One of them days.
SPEAKER_27It was?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_27I call it the Scissor movie. The scissor movie. I call it a Friday scissor.
SPEAKER_04The one that Scissor was fucking that one.
SPEAKER_27What would I say to him?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_27Oh, he should he nothing. He shouldn't have been in the house. He should have been kicked out, but I heard the dick was good, so I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Rich, help me out, bro. You gotta gotta.
SPEAKER_07I feel like I don't know. I feel like that's a cheat code. When niggas ain't shit.
SPEAKER_04Pause. What's the cheat code?
SPEAKER_07When niggas ain't shit. Oh, all right. If you drop a dick off, women are like, yeah, I'm here for it. I mean, you gotta come with something.
SPEAKER_27I don't know. For me, like, I'll think a little bit harder or longer about it, but you still gotta go.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, that was a crazy pause. That was a crazy pause. Set your gas out.
SPEAKER_16Yes.
SPEAKER_27I'm over this shit.
SPEAKER_07Ain't shit character? Ain't shit character. Yo, I'm trying to think, and it sucks because I like a lot of ain't shit characters. That's where it's kind of fucking me.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but you gotta give her one that's gonna get the most.
SPEAKER_27You gotta give me a character already who has lines. I don't think I can come up with my own lines. I didn't say I could be a writer.
SPEAKER_04Alright. So, like, what's someone you hate? I'll block you out. What's someone that you hate the most? You you gotta like signal me to lock you out, though. I'm not gonna lie. Because I don't want to miss it. Yeah. He missed it crazy once.
SPEAKER_07Yo, he bleeped, he bleeped three people, but didn't get the middle one. So her name is just out there.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So you gotta have to count me down to some girly. I'm not gonna lie to you. But whoever you hate the most.
SPEAKER_27Okay.
SPEAKER_04Okay. What would you say to that person? How would you act like you hate that person? Even though you actually hate them. So it should be you. You know.
SPEAKER_27You know, fuck. You know what I do to people I I don't like? I don't like using the word hate.
SPEAKER_04Um strongly dislike?
SPEAKER_27Yeah, like I strongly dislike. Like I literally would just start praying for you.
SPEAKER_04Damn.
SPEAKER_27Like in your face. Praying for your downfall? No, praying for you in your face. Like, you know what? Like, you're not gonna bring it up.
SPEAKER_04Like holy water and all?
SPEAKER_27If I had it, I'm I'm throwing it at you. That's kind of funny. Throwing it? Yeah, like, but like nicely. Yeah, like you dumb bitch. Because I don't know, I've come so far. Like the old Sentra definitely would have had so much more to say to this, but the new Sentra definitely meets things that I don't like with silence or prayer.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, I love that. However, we need you to act, girl. Oh look at that, look at that. She got so caught up in see that set now.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, you gotta put me like an eat love prey or something. I was just trying to get her to act, but I don't know why he wants to make me a bad character. Like, I just want to be a good person.
SPEAKER_04Well, sometimes it's easier to talk to the bad character.
SPEAKER_07Ain't no good acting when it comes to being a good person. Oh, bro, just breathe and walk on seven.
SPEAKER_27Look at seven pounds.
SPEAKER_07That dude was a dickhead though.
SPEAKER_27But he turned out to be so fucking nice.
SPEAKER_07Because he put a jellyfish in the tub and killed himself.
SPEAKER_27What does that have to do with being nice?
SPEAKER_07Y'all gonna get me.
SPEAKER_27You don't like that movie?
SPEAKER_04I've never seen it.
SPEAKER_27Oh, okay. That's better than you not liking it. You're the second person this month to tell me they didn't see seven pounds.
SPEAKER_07I didn't like that. That's all pursuit of happiness. Just not seven pounds. I don't like the ending. It's fucking stupid.
SPEAKER_04If you go kill yourself, just like kill yourself. You're just spoiling the entire movie for me, man. He dead.
SPEAKER_27Oh, you get out of here because what the fuck? I would tell you everything right now. From beginning to end.
SPEAKER_07He was trying to he was trying to donate his organs. So he said, check this out and put a jellyfish in the bathtub with me. Okay. Electrocute myself.
SPEAKER_04Why is the movie called Seven Pounds?
SPEAKER_27Isn't it because of the weight of the heart or something?
SPEAKER_07Oh, you cooked. I didn't I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_04Wait, a heart is seven pounds?
SPEAKER_27Stop asking me things. I'm sorry. I was just like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_07I was like, wait. The heart might be seven pounds.
SPEAKER_27Google that shit right now.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_27And don't AI. We're running out of water. That's why we have forest fires right now.
SPEAKER_04Because only you could stop.
SPEAKER_07How did y'all deal with the uh smoke? Yeah. It's 0.5.75 pounds.
SPEAKER_27Don't say it out loud. Let my theory be right.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. You were negative.
SPEAKER_27But he donated to seven people.
SPEAKER_04Oh man. Oh. So yeah, that makes sense then.
SPEAKER_27Look, maybe you should Google why it was it called seven people.
SPEAKER_07You know what's crazy? Why was the movie called Seven? Oh, wait. So it says refers to the weight of the heart.
SPEAKER_27So, like so seven people, one pound each.
SPEAKER_07To save the lives of seven people, he carefully selected in an attempt to redeem himself for a tragic car accident that he caused.
SPEAKER_27So he basically kills his family by accident and he wanted to donate parts of his body to okay, the whole jellyfish. I don't know why you find it stupid because getting killed by a jellyfish preserves all your organs, basically. So if he would have done it any other way, he wouldn't have been able to donate every part of his body the way he did. So that's why he chose that way, and he did research going into that. Um, and then he also did research on the people he donated to, so he would do little tests, which is why he was an asshole to these people, so to say, just to test on how they would react or speak back to him. Because he didn't want to donate to anyone who was a killer.
SPEAKER_04Oh, so he was just doing his his civil duty as a person. Civil duty.
SPEAKER_27See, when you say it like that, you take away from the whole emotion of the movie, and I don't want to talk about this shit.
SPEAKER_04I didn't mean it like that, but like the way that civil duty as a person. I'm about to say, like the way that Rich put it, it was just like the accident that he caused. So now I was confused on whether it was on purpose or it was.
SPEAKER_27No, he was an amazing guy, and it just happened by accident. He was having fun on the in the car with his family. Weren't they on like a road trip? He looked away for two seconds.
SPEAKER_07Boom. Nigga, why are you looking away at the road?
SPEAKER_04Do you not look away on the road? Do you not look away to change the song or something?
SPEAKER_27You fist bump on the road. Like you look for shit in the back seat. Like. No, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa we're not calling me out now.
SPEAKER_07Hold on.
SPEAKER_27I actually don't know.
SPEAKER_04So I'm about to say I only believed her because she knew you for OD long, nigga. So I was just like, yeah, word. Nah, yeah, I'm just doing shit.
SPEAKER_07That's why you can't have someone in the room they knew for too long. I was like, shit like that happened to you.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I seen this nigga in khakis.
unknownAlright.
SPEAKER_04This nigga is kind of ugly in khakis, I will say. I love khakis. Give my man's though. I'm also ugly in khakis.
SPEAKER_07I fucking love khakis.
SPEAKER_04I feel like men shouldn't wear khakis. Why?
SPEAKER_07Khakkies is like the man pants.
SPEAKER_04No man looks good in khakis, bro. Pause.
SPEAKER_07Women look good in khakis. They do. Oh. Oh, oh.
SPEAKER_05I hate khakis.
SPEAKER_07You hate khakis though.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I do. Khakis aren't even that bad.
SPEAKER_04Well, that's different. You're a Leo. Leo's dressed well. So I like him.
SPEAKER_05That's hate.
SPEAKER_04Why is that hate?
SPEAKER_27Like, there's other colors out there, and you chose khaki.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. I got them khaki shorts I was gonna wear later.
SPEAKER_04That's evil.
SPEAKER_27The moment of silence was necessary. I I could have went on forever, but thanks to you, the silence is broken.
SPEAKER_07Oh shit. There was a post-credit scene.
SPEAKER_04Oh, it was us.
SPEAKER_27For everyone's sake, I'm turning the TV off.
SPEAKER_04It's already, it's already done. Mind you, we're three hours in. Oh, we're yeah, nigga. Nice.
SPEAKER_07What else y'all gotta wrap up, man? I don't think you really got any topics to go over.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I ain't gonna lie to you, bro. I'm down to do this shit for like another hour and a half, if you really ask me. So I look. Everybody out watching the World Cup, everybody busy. Not wrong. What other topics we got? Do we have anything to like wrap up on?
SPEAKER_06Okay. Okay.
SPEAKER_27I started kind of thinking of my dialogue to the person I didn't like.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, please fit it. Please fit it.
SPEAKER_27But it was like I saw myself looking at you and just like doing it.
SPEAKER_04Oh no, that's fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll happily be a prop. Girl, I went to film school. That's all we did.
SPEAKER_07Fucking yell at each other.
SPEAKER_04At first, I thought she was gonna say that she doesn't fuck with me. So I was like, oh.
SPEAKER_27Nah, yeah, nah. I fuck with everybody in the room, including the cat.
SPEAKER_04Spooks is my favorite. Where you at?
SPEAKER_27Where did Spooks go? I could have sworn the cat was right here.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, he was, but that's the beauty of Spooks. He's gonna come out of nowhere and scare you.
SPEAKER_04We divulge. Continue.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah. What's that dialogue?
SPEAKER_27No, you can't. It has to just come out in the middle of something. I'm gonna do it in the middle of something. You're gonna be so shocked. You're gonna think it's personal.
SPEAKER_07So my whole thing is we're looking at this Wolverine thing.
SPEAKER_27You need to turn the fucking TV off. Sorry. Now I'm going in.
SPEAKER_07They have X-Men rumor casting.
SPEAKER_27I'm sick of it.
SPEAKER_07I'm going in. Word?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I'm sick of it.
SPEAKER_07Wait, this ain't the dialogue. This is towards me. I don't know. Figure it out. Oh my god, yo. You're supposed to look at him and do this shit. Shit, nigga. It's been diverted.
SPEAKER_27In the name of Jesus. Oh my God.
SPEAKER_07That's what you're doing in the news?
SPEAKER_04I think I think we got her nervous. I was just like, this way.
SPEAKER_27I am nervous, but look, doesn't that piss you off though? If I just start praying in the middle of you like being angry at me?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, because Nike will make me look like a fucking sinner.
SPEAKER_04So I'm gonna keep it a beam with you. I went to Catholic school for like 14 years. That shit don't phase me anymore.
SPEAKER_27So would you start praying with me?
SPEAKER_04I'll probably lie. Nah, nah, nah.
SPEAKER_07People start praying. I'm like, bruh, I'm all the I'm like, I must be spawning Satan right now.
SPEAKER_05Like Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Why the fuck y'all both looking at me like that?
SPEAKER_04I wanted to see what she was about to say, nigga. I was curious.
SPEAKER_07She's about to cook me like that.
SPEAKER_26No, I was about to say too much. Sorry about shut up.
SPEAKER_04Hear me out. If she starts going crazy, I gotta look at you because I don't want to laugh at her and then I get cursed out. You know what I'm saying? Like it's just etiquette to this, bro. I'm fucking weak.
SPEAKER_27Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_27What are you doing? You mocking me?
SPEAKER_06I was going to face Johnny has a face. Like, are you nigga? Well, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I was really like, damn. You must have said some crazy ass shit, nigga. What the fuck you said?
SPEAKER_07I don't know. So run the tape guy.
SPEAKER_27Alright, we gotta think of a topic for real. I'm feeling, I'm feeling it.
SPEAKER_06What do what do you have in mind?
SPEAKER_04How do you feel about hoe ass niggas?
SPEAKER_27I don't associate with them, but they seem to find me.
SPEAKER_06Oh shit.
SPEAKER_04And that is her Netflix documentary.
SPEAKER_27Oh yeah, point of view. It was me preparing for my Netflix documentary.
SPEAKER_07How did that become a trend?
SPEAKER_27I don't know, but I love it.
SPEAKER_04So do I.
SPEAKER_27I love it so much.
SPEAKER_04If it wasn't for catfish, I wouldn't love it this much. Like catfish was my shit.
SPEAKER_07Catfish was crazy.
SPEAKER_04I want Neve on this show. I want Neve Sultan on this show. I don't give a fuck what anybody says.
SPEAKER_27Have you ever been catfish?
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_27I have too.
SPEAKER_07I feel like in society it just has to happen now. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I feel like that's just normal ever since the show came out. Because when the movie came out, nobody was really doing it. But when the show came out.
SPEAKER_07Show came out, what? I'm I think full circle. I think that's kind of what started that. Yo, bro, call me right now. That whole SOS. No, not even FaceTime. Like when you meet up with the catfish, you're like, oh shit, I gotta get the fuck out of here. Yo, hit it. Yo, call me right now.
SPEAKER_04You know what catfish episode really pissed me off? What? It was the one where the guy was acting like he was Bow Wow.
SPEAKER_27I missed that one.
SPEAKER_04He was texting the girl, and like I guess he was watching the TV to look out for 106 in part. And he'll text her on commercial breaks.
SPEAKER_07She was giving him thousands and thousands of dollars.
SPEAKER_27And she thought sending Bow Wow thousands of instead of receiving thousands of you know. I don't support dumb bitches. I don't support dumb bitches.
SPEAKER_04There was another nigga who like he worked in a restaurant and he made cheese balls. And he was like, I'm Ron and I make cheese balls. And I was like, What? Why why are you on this show? It made no sense to me.
SPEAKER_07Man, talk about the bet the best one.
SPEAKER_27What up, Ron? I want some cheese balls.
SPEAKER_07Unpose. Ron probably. He skipped over the greatest one.
SPEAKER_04You're an unlawful citizen? Which one are you talking about?
SPEAKER_07Nah, that one where my man's was when a girl was in the alleyway waiting for a dude to come up. No, no, no. When a gay, it was a gay dude and his cousin, and she helped him find, she helped him find this person. They went to like Montana, wherever the fuck it was. Then they get to the alleyway, and he's like, Yeah, I don't know what this person is. I'm still here waiting. And then she was like, Yeah. Remember when you called me a fat bitch a few years ago? Oh, fat Kelly Price? There we go, there we go.
SPEAKER_26Yo, she catfished him for the Yeah.
SPEAKER_07She was plotting that shit for months. That's hilarious.
SPEAKER_04There's a like a yo, there's so many iconic catfish just episodes, but even the one where it was just like, I think I'm just gonna come up with two random states because it really doesn't matter what states it was. One girl says she was from Texas, and the other one said that she was from Jersey. She was right down the block. Oh, I remember that.
SPEAKER_07He was like, yo, why don't you say nothing? She was like, Cause you thought it was gonna be ugly.
SPEAKER_04Was she? I'm joking.
SPEAKER_07She was.
SPEAKER_04I was about to answer.
SPEAKER_27He should have forgave her right there.
SPEAKER_07Should've. Alright, so last question. Would y'all catfish somebody? But but but let's add some stature to it. Say it's like say it's an NBA player. Say it's a WNBA player.
SPEAKER_04You hooking me up with a WNBA player?
SPEAKER_07Would y'all be like, damn, how can I get this person attention? Ah, let me just become someone else.
SPEAKER_27Nah, I'm too like too authentic. I don't know.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I love myself. Too real? Oh I love myself.
SPEAKER_07That might be that might be it.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I love myself, so I'm gonna think you love me too. And if you don't, then you're not for me. So yeah. I don't know. I don't have it in me to catfish somebody.
SPEAKER_07It takes a lot.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I don't think I have enough energy, time, patience. Yeah, no, no. It's just not in my character.
SPEAKER_07But you were lying about having cancer?
SPEAKER_27I didn't lie about having cancer, Rich. I was lied to.
SPEAKER_26You're gonna piss this bitch off over here.
SPEAKER_04Can't say bitch. She was also lied to three times. Give the girl a break, bro. Give her a break. Let's wrap this shit up.
SPEAKER_27No.
SPEAKER_07I mean, we can if you don't have anything else.
SPEAKER_04That's Rich telling us that we gotta wrap up soon. Right. He wants to, yeah. He got big boy business, though. No, cuz like he does it every show.
SPEAKER_07I'm like, bro. Cuz once it starts getting airy, I'm like, so what are we talking about?
SPEAKER_27I need one more good question.
SPEAKER_04See, that means you gotta keep doing the part until we get the one question.
SPEAKER_27Oh my god.
SPEAKER_07I will let it go too. Like, hold on, hold on. We can keep going. So I was trying to verge before. Since you got mad, I bought a Wolverine because they confirmed, or they didn't confirm, they confirmed X-Men's coming out, they're rebooting it, but they got fake casting. We talked about it last time, but now they're they're moving with the casting, though. Like Patrick Wilson might play Professor X.
SPEAKER_04Professor X.
SPEAKER_07Fuck you.
SPEAKER_04I'm lying, bro. My bad.
SPEAKER_07What do you mean fake casting? It's it becomes a rumor, like, oh, this actor wants to play so and so. So then people buy into it, but actors really set that up to make it trending. So by the time they go to Marvel and be like, hey, I did want to play this role, they're like, We've been seeing that online. And they're like, ah, I must be the guy if it's just circulating.
SPEAKER_04And then because I will be honest, I'm starting to think at a point is just the studio leaking the information to the fans, and the fans are just like, Oh, this is a rumor, and then it just ends up being true because it was always casted that way.
SPEAKER_07That happens too. That has openly happened.
SPEAKER_04It's so annoying. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_07I mean, they said Adam Driver might play Mr. Sinister. Which I'm they said Magneto before, but now they're saying Mr. Sinister.
SPEAKER_04If you don't know, I rather him as Magneto.
SPEAKER_07I'd rather Mr. Sinister. Mr. Sinister is fucked up. He like kidnaps people, he'll kidnap other mutants, he'll genetically modify them, he'll like put them inside test tubes and all the it's really evil.
SPEAKER_04You wanna know why I rather him as Magneto?
SPEAKER_07The the the Rick Ross X-Men, if you will.
SPEAKER_04He doesn't he doesn't he doesn't scare me after seeing him as Kylo Run. He's he's not terrifying to me, he's just a baby in most movies that he's in. Sinister? No, Adam Driver.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I see what you're saying.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like he he plays the man child in a lot of movies, actually. There it goes. I never thought about that.
SPEAKER_07Bill Skarsgard was also rumored for Professor X.
SPEAKER_04I fuck with that. Heavy. That's a dude who plays to me. Bill Skarsgard, Adam Driver together? No?
SPEAKER_07That don't sound like it makes money to me. I don't know why. Moderately enough. Like if you had superpowers, what would it be? Boom.
SPEAKER_27Do I have to only pick one?
SPEAKER_07I don't mean fucking Jack Jack got like 12 of them shits go crazy. My top three. Okay, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_27Alright. I would definitely want invisibility. Because I really want to be a fly on the wall sometimes.
SPEAKER_04Why does all fire signs want that for me? That's the first thing I say every time.
SPEAKER_27Because I like I really want to know what the fuck's going on when I'm not in the room.
SPEAKER_04Well, somebody's stealing your shit, bro.
SPEAKER_07I hope not.
SPEAKER_27They're not. Alright, so invisibility. Um, what else? What's the word for it?
SPEAKER_04Um not time travel, but um um um telekinesis. Where you move stuff with your head?
SPEAKER_27No. Like when you instead of flying, you transport.
SPEAKER_07Oh, teleporting.
SPEAKER_27Teleport. Oh wow, damn. I'm dumb. Okay, teleporting.
SPEAKER_07No, because that's one of mine.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, like teleporting, and then my last one would have to be. I would wanna do like I wanna be like Spider-Man and be able to like climb shit.
SPEAKER_07You don't want to shoot. That's fire.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, those would be my three.
SPEAKER_07Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_04Is it like because like you would like to sit upside down on the wall?
SPEAKER_07Or like you just wanna climb shit. You just wanna be like, look at this.
SPEAKER_27Well, because I'm not scared of heights. So I wanna, and then if I'm not choosing flying, then I wanna be able to get as closest to the clouds as possible.
SPEAKER_04So I'm terrified of heights, but I'm not scared of roller coasters, which is crazy.
SPEAKER_07It's different.
SPEAKER_27I'm terrified. So what are you scared of? Planes?
SPEAKER_07Skyscrapers.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I haven't been on a plane since I was five. What the fuck? Yeah.
unknownWhat the fuck?
SPEAKER_04It never came back up. My family does road trips.
SPEAKER_07Too many road trips, nigga. God damn.
SPEAKER_27Do you know? I was dating a guy who also has never been on a plane before, maybe just once when they were a child. Do you know I booked tickets the very next day that he said that?
SPEAKER_04I'm crying. Am I getting tickets?
SPEAKER_06That other guy ruined it. I'm gonna just I'm gonna just get straight to the straight to the end of the story.
SPEAKER_26He was one of the cancer guys. He was one of the cancer guys. Oh shit.
SPEAKER_07Oh, I see. You just got live, get say you got cancer, give some flights. I I like I like where this is going.
SPEAKER_04I hate when niggas fuck it up for the good niggas, bro.
SPEAKER_07Hey man, it's not like you just gotta lie by having cancer and you can get everything.
SPEAKER_27No, but he lied about cancer after the trip. Like, yeah. Like months later, on his birthday.
SPEAKER_04Yo, imagine coming clean on your birthday.
SPEAKER_27He came clean two days after his birthday.
SPEAKER_04What did you party at all? What did you do for his birthday, bruh? What? You damn nigga.
SPEAKER_27We went to New York. Just 48 hours?
SPEAKER_07Like, no, I just I just want to know like how much fun they were having in the back of his mind. He's like, uh I wasn't having fun at all.
SPEAKER_27Okay, so um, I don't know if most of you know, but like I don't drink or smoke anymore. So I've been sober, so every time I go out, I'm sober and everyone else is not cool. It's annoying. It can get annoying, but I also act like I'm drunk.
SPEAKER_07You do?
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I do. So, but anyway, so we're in New York with his family, his cousins, and like people he grew up with who are on a rooftop. DJ's good, and we're just having like the best time of our lives on that rooftop. Drinks are flowing, and I'm drinking my Aquafina water. He ends up getting so pissy drunk. I tell him, calm down, eat a chopped cheese. He refuses the chopped cheese. He takes one bite. He's smoking his joint. He ends up getting really fucked face. Now at this point, he's yelling in everyone's faces. We tell him the cops are across the street. I don't give a fuck.
SPEAKER_06Oh, tough. Yeah, I like that drunk.
SPEAKER_27Yeah. You have his cousins like, oh well, we're gotta go, we gotta go. We're going to the next function. They leave me alone with him and two other people. Next thing I know, he's screaming in my face. His cousin gets involved. We make our way to the hotel. When we get to the hotel, him and his cousin start arguing back and forth. I call his aunt. I put her on speakerphone. I said, listen to this shit. She listens to this shit. She goes, if you feel unsafe, you let me know. I'll come get you. I'm like, no, I feel good. I'm okay. Next thing I know, he goes, he's losing the argument, y'all. He's losing the argument real bad. I mean, his younger cousin is making sense. So he turns around and he goes, and you know what's crazy? Y'all don't even know I got cancer. I'm sitting there, like, did you hear that, Auntie? She's like, hear what? I said, I think he'll talk about it in the morning. I hang up the phone. That cousin did not give a fuck. I think he knew he was lying. That nigga went home. We go upstairs. I'm like, I'll let him rest. We wake up in the morning, he's avoiding my existence. I'm trying to be nice. I'm like, hey, listen, do you want to talk about it? He's like, talk about what? I said, well, you said something yesterday. He said, oh. What did I say? I said, well, do you have cancer? This nigga just looked into the abyss. He didn't say shit. We had an awkward car ride back home to his mom's house. He said, You want me to drop you off home? I said, Your mom said she cooked dinner. Why the fuck would I go home? We make it to his house. Silence. He left the room for like 30 minutes, came back. He goes, Hey, I want to talk about the cancer situation. I said, Oh shit. He talks about how his aunt got diagnosed years ago when he was a child. And it scared him. And he thought he had cancer as a kid because his aunt had it. So now when he gets drunk, sometimes he tells people he has cancer. I'm definitely gonna have to block him after this.
SPEAKER_07I gotta do this at all. Yo, I thought this wasn't that in the background music that really helps me. Yo, that gas super narration mode.
SPEAKER_04Nah, you can't be in a room with me out of Sagittarius, and it's really a problem.
SPEAKER_06No facts.
SPEAKER_07Oh shit. I'm sweating right now. No way.
SPEAKER_27Nah, but true story, facts. That actually happened. Nothing was fabricated. And like I believe it. Yeah, that's literally what happened.
SPEAKER_04Can I tell you? There's not one throughout that entire story that I think you was lying.
SPEAKER_15Right.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that shit is crazy. Who says shit like that?
SPEAKER_07Alright, so you should do the actor shit, but just go be a comedian too. You might as well just roll that in there. Get that first.
SPEAKER_27I would love to do a like a live comedy show.
SPEAKER_04I don't owe Odyssey.
SPEAKER_27Oh, because you know who's finally coming to New York and the ticket's sold out in less than four hours? Cool. Mojo Brooks.
SPEAKER_07A nigga never heard of.
SPEAKER_27Oh my god. Okay, I love Mojo Brooks.
SPEAKER_04So I just heard of him like maybe a few weeks ago. He does really good improv.
SPEAKER_27His improv shows are hilarious. Okay. And that's what he's been going on tour for. Netflix picked him up. He was with like DC Young Fly.
SPEAKER_07Oh, wait, I think I know who that is.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, and he's just so funny. Like he'll be able to pick out anyone from the crowd and make the show about that.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that's this dude.
SPEAKER_27And then he calls somebody off your phone, whether it be your girlfriend, your wife. And he's just, I don't know.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, no, this dude is funny as fuck.
SPEAKER_27He's my type of comedy, I'm not gonna lie. Like off the fly type comedy.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I wouldn't take two more. Oh excuse me. Ow. Ironically, I liked it. Yeah, yeah, I know exactly who this is.
SPEAKER_27And then don't let him be in a tracksuit. That's the best episode. Like him in a tracksuit, I just know something's about to be funny.
SPEAKER_04So, like, there's a social media guy that I've been like just watching his videos a whole lot lately. His name is Moco for Loco. That sounds familiar. Once you hear his voice, you probably be like, oh, this fucking guy. Hold on a second.
SPEAKER_07Nah, Mojo's.
SPEAKER_00Not on my head. Not on my nose. Not in my mouth. That's the bet. Yeah. Listen, you ain't never gotta ask him to do nothing like that more than once. We are on the same page, baby.
SPEAKER_15Let's that's a bat.
SPEAKER_27He's hilarious. Yeah, he's mad funny. And he I love when people do reactions to certain stuff.
SPEAKER_07And they'd be reacting just how you would. I'm like, that's a cheat code.
SPEAKER_27There was that one video where this kid, um, this couple was in like couple therapy or whatever, and he was like, bitch, fix your attitude.
SPEAKER_26And then the therapist goes, like, take a deep breath. So he goes, Bitch, fix your attitude.
SPEAKER_04Yo, the one that kills me from him. There was a girl that she was cooking, and she went down and her boobs like jumped a little bit. So then fucking the girl after her was like, What color was her hair?
SPEAKER_27No one's looking.
SPEAKER_04And then he came out and was like, Yo, mind your business. You trying to tell me about Jalen fucking Bronson. Shut the fuck up. Yo, he kills me, bro. Nah, yeah. Now, Rich, this is all up to you. Cause I know you got like time, but no time. So we can either go another half hour, make this shit four hours.
SPEAKER_27Are we going to Harry's daughter?
SPEAKER_04See, or go to Harry's daughter.
SPEAKER_07Like that. What?
SPEAKER_27Yes. Like, I need some fucking coconut rice and damn.
SPEAKER_04Coconut rice sounds great, right? Yes. Damn.
SPEAKER_07Yes, I want to.
SPEAKER_27Some jerk chicken coconut rice, some plantain.
SPEAKER_04Damn, good. You just want to let Kayla get the longest episode of. I got ongoing beef with Kayla, so don't.
SPEAKER_07Wait, wait, wait. How long is Kayla's episode?
SPEAKER_04Three hours and 49 minutes.
SPEAKER_07Were we at two hours? Three hours and 31 minutes.
SPEAKER_27Wait, how long was hers? Three hours and what?
SPEAKER_04We're at 3 30 right now. Hers is at 3 49. No, we got this shit.
SPEAKER_27That's that Leo's shit. Kayla, I don't know who you are.
SPEAKER_07We probably get along with Kayla and One.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, I get along with everybody.
SPEAKER_04They seem like they vibe. They have the same personality. Kayla's just like girls. That's all.
SPEAKER_27She likes girls. Yeah. I love her. I love gay people.
SPEAKER_04She's great. Like she's she's me and her be ready to fight, but she's great.
SPEAKER_27No, I feel like she'd beat your ass. And I don't even know her.
SPEAKER_04I think she's like, Oh my god, yo. Hey yo. You want bands, but see, now she's starring shit. Now I gotta hit her up. Yeah.
SPEAKER_27I want to meet Kayla. FaceTime Kayla.
SPEAKER_04So my camera cracked in the front, so like she ain't really gonna see you like that. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_07You just go see Kayla.
SPEAKER_04You just gonna see a white flash across your face.
SPEAKER_26Okay.
SPEAKER_04Let's see if she even answers. Let's find out.
SPEAKER_27I think she will.
SPEAKER_07Kaylee getting a call from the culture drop podcast.
SPEAKER_27Act like someone kidnapped you or something.
SPEAKER_07Oh, like the radio, like the radio shoe. I need you to come right now.
SPEAKER_27Or be like, I fucked up. I need you to call my girl and tell her that I'm here.
SPEAKER_26See what she does.
SPEAKER_06Kayla Taylor. Sorry, Mr.
SPEAKER_04Ford. Oh my god. She didn't answer God. She don't fuck with me.
SPEAKER_07I was like, you gotta let her voicemail get off though, at least.
SPEAKER_27I wonder if I have a voicemail.
SPEAKER_04Oh, now she texts to me and shit. Fake as hell. Anyway. She's about to hear this whole shit tomorrow and be like, yo, fuck you, nigga. Oh, I'm with family, so I can't pick up. No, don't worry about it.
SPEAKER_27Yeah, you ain't that important. Can't talk to you.
SPEAKER_04This is Donnie from the Culture Draw Podcast. I was just calling you to let you know that there is a guest over here that is really interested in your behavior. So oh wait, this shit's not even recording.
SPEAKER_07Look at that. See, look at that. Look at that.
SPEAKER_04I gotta unplug it for it to record.
SPEAKER_07I ain't doing that.
SPEAKER_04I ain't doing that. I ain't doing that.
SPEAKER_07I ain't doing that.
SPEAKER_04Oh well, guys. We tried. She's gonna be like, what the fuck you want next time?
SPEAKER_07Well, did she hear this? She's gonna know what it is.
SPEAKER_04She's gonna be mad as shit. Cause she's gonna be like, damn, bro, you call me when a baddie's there, and you gonna Yeah, like what the fuck? That's exactly what she's gonna say, bruh.
SPEAKER_07You funny as hell.
SPEAKER_27No, I just instigate shit.
SPEAKER_04Nah, I'm gonna text her right now. Had a baddie here for you.
SPEAKER_07She in Brooklyn right now, man.
SPEAKER_27Wait, you know how they're the guy this is gonna sound crazy. You know how they say like gay guys, like one's the top or the bottom. Do they say the same for girls?
SPEAKER_04That's a good question.
SPEAKER_27Cause if they do, I'd definitely be the top.
SPEAKER_04Hey yo, see, she's trying to spit game already. She said who.
SPEAKER_15Ooh.
SPEAKER_04I can't give you that information.
SPEAKER_07See, yeah, Missy, watch out because she is a top.
SPEAKER_27Because I think I would have fun with all different types of straps and shit. Hey yo. Now that I'll definitely listen to a playlist for.
SPEAKER_07Strap music. I'm done now. You'll have a playlist for strap music? That's crazy.
SPEAKER_26Yeah, like always strap. I'd probably play the song that we had, the slick. Go crazy. Go crazy. Slick.
SPEAKER_07What what else would what else would you play from that playlist?
SPEAKER_27Um, what else would I play? Hmm. It has to be hip mu um music. So I'd play a lot of reggae.
SPEAKER_04For strap music? Oh, she's freaking.
SPEAKER_27Yeah. Like, I gotta go Caribbean in that shit. Like, I gotta make you go cuckoo for Coco Pops.
SPEAKER_04I never thought of that. I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_07That's what I'm saying, bro.
SPEAKER_27I'm talking one leg up. Listen.
SPEAKER_07My bad. You think the strap just gives you a certain type of power that you never experienced before? Is it like wielding Thor's hammer?
SPEAKER_27Like I think so. I think it like, you know how like girls want to be a guy for one day? Like, I think it gives you that. Like, I'm about to go full on guy right now.
SPEAKER_04I'm not gonna lie. I think girls want, I mean guys want to be a girl for one day too.
SPEAKER_27Minus all the shit we have to go through, but I think so.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I don't want that week.
SPEAKER_27Like, I think Oh my god, yo, get him! That's your man! No, I'm a I'm a grand, I'm a grand. I don't even want that shit.
SPEAKER_06I'll just be gassing.
SPEAKER_27But I think I think you guys would like have fun with boobs.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I will have a ball.
SPEAKER_27You know?
SPEAKER_04I will have a ball.
SPEAKER_27Like, I feel like y'all would make it rotate in a circle.
SPEAKER_04But like rotate?
SPEAKER_27Yep.
SPEAKER_07I never thought of that. I never thought of that. I feel like a guy's luck though, he would get like no chess.
SPEAKER_27Then you'll have ass. No chess equals ass. And then you have the blessed. We have both.
SPEAKER_07Oh, I'm like the blessed.
SPEAKER_04Yo, you know what's funny? Kayla just sex to me saying that's what you get for cold calling me. You should have just told me ahead of time, and I'm like, yo, didn't she just say the same exact shit? About the pod?
SPEAKER_21Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I don't do that.
SPEAKER_27Literally, you should have just been like, yo, I'm in a fucked up situation right now.
SPEAKER_07Do you do you have a list of people that you can call any time, any day, instantly? Nah. And they'll answer. Mm-hmm. He said, nah, damn.
SPEAKER_04Nobody's gonna answer me immediately. I think you're actually the only one that would answer me.
SPEAKER_07I'll answer you.
SPEAKER_04Um sometimes my dad be ignoring that shit. You think I don't know, but I do.
SPEAKER_27No, yeah, I die. Like, cause like either they're busy or they're not, and I can't tell. And then most of my close friends either in relationships or have kids or live far away or work from home. Like, if you would have asked me this maybe 10 years ago, I'd probably have 10 people that I could tell you would answer on the first ring. But now we're like real life adults.
SPEAKER_04It's only funny because like pushing 30.
SPEAKER_27Fuck up.
SPEAKER_04Like, I I still actually call everybody back, but like once you call me, you gotta expect me not to answer at first and then give five more minutes. Because my phone's always on do not disturb.
SPEAKER_27Oh, I can't stand a do not disturb phone.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, welcome to my life.
SPEAKER_27Like, what's wrong with y'all? Like, what like no, seriously, answer this question. Why are you on do not disturb? What are you so busy doing that you're on do not disturb?
SPEAKER_07But you asked my girl that shit later because my life depended on it, I would have been out of here.
SPEAKER_27Well, Mickey's out of here, so she can do whatever she wants.
SPEAKER_04Me today? I'm just busy taking care of my kid, so not really like, you know.
SPEAKER_07Hey, I got something for that. Yeah, facts. I got something I got something for that too. I'm now at the stage in my life where I'm not answering you calling me during work hours. If if we don't even talk like that, like you my man's man, and you know my work schedule, and you know my work life, and you know I might be bullishing, shoot me a call. If we don't even talk like that, and you call me at like 1 50 p.m. I don't know, man, it's giving unemployed or something, bro. Like, people have until not getting to the bag, because I'm at the bag right now.
SPEAKER_04Like people have until after I want to say like 11 p.m. to me. Why? Because I work at 3 a.m. So like I'm gonna respond to you at 3 a.m. I'm not gonna call you back, but I'll text you at least. That's as far as I'm going though.
SPEAKER_07You text me back at 3 a.m. I'm like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_04But everybody knows my schedule's not normal. So if I text you, I'm just texting you because that's the time I got at the moment.
SPEAKER_07So it's like Madison. I think I think I'm texting back to the 3 a.m. shit. I'm like, damn, really can't respond, nigga. So I'm instantly. I'm like, the fuck, nigga, seven.
SPEAKER_04Bruh. Bruh, my phone is up from fucking like 2 a.m. up until I wanna say like 10 a.m. Cause then I'm asleep again. Then I wake back up at 12 and then I'm up all the rest of the day.
SPEAKER_07So you hear that endorsements, you know exactly when to hit them back, yo.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I got a work ethic, so y'all should hit me up and sponsor me. Like today.
